Top class!

We've been using this company for a while now. They installed a new boiler, a new hot water tank and prior to that serviced our boiler & heating system which they continue to do.

In an age when good service is difficult to come by, it's impossible to fault Hereford Gas Services. Can't praise them enough.

Ask for service minimum charge cost

Had to wait 4 weeks for a booked appointment to minor repair a gas cooker. No more than 30 minute (and that's being generous) to fit a part supplied by me that cost £17. British Gas Services charge for attendance was £85!. When queried advised this was the minimum fee at no time was i advised of this when making the appointment .
2 stars as engineer polite and efficient.

Great installation and service

Following previous good service HGS was the obvious choice for us when purchasing a new fire. After a visit to the showroom and we opted for a Gazco Logic HE fire. After a consultation on site, the engineers that came to install the fire were really polite & really helpful. Due to an unfortunate, unforeseen issue with the chimney flue the installation took longer than the engineers expected, but they were good humoured and professional about it. The site was left clean and tidy at the end of the installation. The fire looks great and we are really pleased with the service HGS provided from start to finish. We would definitely recommend them to others.

Boiler upgrade, excellent job at a competitive price

Recently had a new boiler and central heating pump replaced due to our old system being 30 years old. Had 3 chaps from HGS who arrived on time working hard for most of the day to complete the job and who didn’t even take a tea break despite my offering several cuppas.

Excellent job, very pleased, and at a competitive price.

Very good but expensive!

They have provided us with a great service in the past. Installed two Gazco fires, moved a boiler and installed a new central heating system. That is in two properties. After sales service has been good...with a few hiccups. Requested new quotes recently for extra rads and bathroom plumbing but they have been very expensive. This has been since the partner/ owner has retired. 😕

I am so annoyed with this company

I am so annoyed with this company, after servicing my 86year old mothers gas fire, they damaged the roof loosened roof tiles allowing water ingress. ( limited attic access due to restricted height of roof apex),
Now they have been the only people to access the attic since 26th September, we noticed the ceiling has been damaged due to water ingress from the roof, which occurred only after they had been in the property. They subsequently visited again to say they were not responsible. Saturday I looked at the roof a tile has been pushed up from below and dislodged, a beading of silicone was loose on the roof, the only people to have been anywhere near this area was Hereford Gas Services Ltd.
They will not accept any responsibility so my 86 year old mother is having to pay for a repair not of her doing!
when I contacted them on Saturday they immediately were on the defensive saying the engineer never accessed the attic, this despite a dirty footprint in the bedroom suggesting otherwise. Note of worth, you cannot see the flu from the access point, which I pointed out to them.
Today Stuart one of the owners I am told telephoned stating their engineer never went into the attic, he completed his service without checking the Flu (funny I am sure this is part of the service requirement)
The only people who have been up were the second visit on Friday to assess the damage they done.
Now that's a little weird as on Saturday I was told no one had been up in the attic full stop.
When I mentioned that do not ask for payment as none would be forthcoming until you put right the damage you caused, i'm told that's ok we wont be doing anymore work at your mothers again. was that an admission of guilt?.
