If you download a program, the beauty is that you get to use it straight away: as soon as it installs. Did I get this benefit? Oh no, dear readers!

I'm writing this review after spending countless minutes watching the download clock ticking, only to find Power Director 13 now needs an activation key, which definitely isn't in my inbox! So I now wait on my hands do I? Will I ever receive this fabled key? My F5 button certainly wishes I'd give up hoping.

Frankly, I simply should have looked at some of these reviews before I placed my order: don't make my mistake!!!!

EDIT: My activation key arrived - an hour and a half after purchase. I have adjusted my rating accordingly.

I bought the Bitdefender based on reviews and comments on the net. However, it turned out to be a mix of bad Programming and bad user friendliness. And it did not even manage to identify and remove a well known malware as Delta-Homes. In stead I was told to do it my self. I tried to post a complaint but after half-a-hour "collecting" info I stopped the complaint.

I had the worst Internet buying experience of my life with this place. I was researching piano teaching software on a review site. I made the decision to buy based entirely on the 30 day satisfaction guarantee listed on that site and on the website of the selected software. After all, how could I assess a piece if software without a trial. The BUY link on the site took me to Herman Street. I paid. I installed the software. My son hated it and didn't like it. So I asked for instructions to cancel it and get a refund. NO WAY. I sent them screenshots of all the promises. They absolutely refused to honor them. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY.

Hermanstreet is just selling programs. If your in any kind of trouble with the product you bought at Hermanstreet, your on your own. Don't buy anything at Hermanstreet. It's cheep and you get what you pay for.
