Check-in was a pain because the clerk was less than friendly and was eating chips at the counter. It took a VERY long time. The return was better .. at least she was not eating this time at the counter

I received a truck loaded with insulation on the back of the truck. My daughter already posted about this. My grandson got to to get our luggage that slid to the front on the truck and he came back up instantly ITCHING. . THE insulation was all over our belongings. A rough start to our vacation. Also upon return, the female at the counter made a lame excuse saying they couldn't get the truck bed cover up. 😂 I did. It's wasn't hard at all. So that means whomever called themselves changing out the truck was a bit negligent on their cleaning. Lies and excuses get you less renters. The inside was not vacuumed out as well.

I'd set my original reservation appt for Sat at noon. I arrived and the doors were closed and locked at noon. I was able to contact customer service, after about 2 hours tangling with the AI service. They informed that they could not change my reservation to the next day they were open nor could they switch to a different location. They canceled the reservation and I was able to make another one for the following Monday. When I'd arrived, I was told there was going to be a wait because the vehicle was not ready. I asked what the holdup was as I had a previous reservation for the same style vehicle and informed that the inconvenience would set me back, as I needed it for work. The clerk rolled her eyes and repeated in a sarcastic tone that the car was not ready and I needed to wait for it. They'd taken pics that I didn't take and told me to sign for it, so I took pics of my own before driving off. The car was still dirty from previous use along with receipts found from the previous user. It was unprofessional and the attitude was uncalled for. The whole experience has left a bad taste in my mouth for this company and will unlikely use in the future.

I rent cars from this location all of the time and I have had nothing but good experiences the staff and the manager are great. Anthony does his best to make sure that I am taken car of and I really appreciate that.

Excellent service from Hertz. The pickup process was seamless, the truck performed beautifully, and the return was completely hassle-free.
