The staff at Lockport HLE do a fantastic job, friendly, professional and very detailed oriented. The only problem is HERTZ jacking the points up by 200 for a few days, and the ridiculous blackout time that's seems to tick off your loyal customers. I'm a president circle member for approximately 7 years
and I've spent easily ytd $45,000
Hertz should do more for there President Circle members.

Poor customer service
The pickup experience was unnecessarily stressful and disappointing. I only found out when I arrived that customers are no longer allowed to leave their personal vehicles at this location overnight. This was not communicated to me beforehand, creating a significant and completely avoidable inconvenience.
When I asked about the policy, the employee at the counter was rude and dismissive. I was repeatedly told, “Hertz is not obligated to provide parking,” with little to no consideration for the fact that this policy creates a major hassle for customers who had previously been accustomed to parking their vehicles there.
I understand that policies can change, and I’m not expecting Hertz to provide parking if they have decided not to. However, customers should be given reasonable notice of a significant change like this, and employees should be trained to communicate these changes patiently and professionally.
Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled left a very poor impression. I will not be using this location again.
