I had a very disappointing experience with Holloway of Ludlow.
After spending several thousand pounds on lighting (including multiple Nuura Miira Pendant Lights, wall lights, and Patricia Lobo wall lights), I expected a high level of service and attention to detail. Unfortunately, what followed was a series of delays, misleading communication, and ultimately incorrect items being supplied.
One of the pendant lights arrived without a ceiling plate, despite this being included at the point of sale and paid for in full. When I raised this issue, I was initially informed that the item had been included, which was not the case. Only after further correspondence was it acknowledged that the ceiling plate had not been supplied. At the same time, the website indicated that this component was included, which I consider misleading. I have written communication confirming these exchanges.
After multiple emails, a replacement was eventually sent, but it was the wrong item entirely. The ceiling plate differs in both colour and design and appears to be of inferior quality, despite the fact I paid for the correct branded component.
In addition, the Patricia Lobo wall lights were promised within an 8-week lead time when ordered in November, yet they did not arrive until late mid April. This level of delay is unacceptable and significantly disrupted our project timeline.
Communication has also been extremely poor. Queries were often ignored, phone calls were not returned, and responses were only forthcoming when I began referencing legal obligations. This is not what you expect from a company handling high-value orders.
Because of these ongoing delays, our electrician had to complete the installation (“second fix”) at a much later stage. The ceiling plate issue only became apparent once everything was installed, leaving us with mismatched fittings in the same room—completely unacceptable from an aesthetic and quality standpoint.
As a result, I now have to arrange and pay for an electrician to return, purely due to their mistake, which I will not let rest until this issue is fully rectified and the incorrect, misleading part is properly replaced.

Overall, the experience has been frustrating and time-consuming, with delays of several months, misleading information, and a clear lack of accountability throughout. For a company operating at this price point, this level of service is simply not acceptable.
I would not recommend.

Beautiful product at a good price

I initially ordered two lights from Original BTC range. They turned out to be discontinued. So I was very disappointed that something is being advertised that is no longer available. However, I chose something else and Ellen in customer experience was excellent in sorting these out for me. Ellen is worthy of 5 star, but I have to take a mark off for the initial problem.
