Appalling service from Homebase delivery order

I ordered garden privacy screens online. I received an email from Homebase saying my order would be delivered between 8am and 6pm on the following Monday. I waited in all day. No delivery and tracking just said the same Monday time slot. Even on the Tuesday, it said the previous day. I contacted Homebase many times by chat as there was no phone numbers. Was told my query had been escalated and I would hear back in up to 48 hours! Not much help. Eventually I discovered that the courier company had not received my order. So why send me two delivery dates when Homebase had not dispatched the order. Eventually through my communication with the courier DX Express I made progress. They let me know as soon as order was received and kept me informed re tracking. So I received my order eventually. My impression of Homebase was they don’t know what they are doing and fob you off with nice catch phrases but don’t resolve or communicate anything of use. As you may guess, I will never use Homebase again. If you do, I hope you don’t have the same appalling experience as me.

Homebase in Eastbourne-Kitchen…

Homebase in Eastbourne-Kitchen purchase. I spoke with Mr Justin Weller who was very helpful throughout the planning and purchase of my new kitchen. I would highly recommend it if you are in the market for a new kitchen or bathroom.
I'm delighted with everything! ;)

Excellent service

Excellent service. Great way to ensure you don’t waste a journey to collect things. All arranged neatly on a trolley; ready to take straight out of the store to the car.

The struggle is real

I purchased a heavy item, there were no strong staff available to help. The staff told me that the carpark, which is not owned by Homebase, is a well known for fining drivers too "enthusiastically", so I won't be visiting by car again.

What brilliant service

Placed order out of hours last night and recieved messages first thing this morning to collect. Was in and out of the store within 5 minutes. What a brilliant service

We ordered a sack trolley as went to…

We ordered a sack trolley as went to collect went to do the job and when to assemble it there was no middle bar that collects to the wheels Took it back to store to ask for a replacement bar and they didn’t have one and no replacement sack trolley was available to purchase so it made us not be able to under take our job which left customer down who left us negative feedback.We asking for kind of compensation to help elivate our lost kind regards Maria

Dodgy Homebase practice: saying customers have not paid but they have

Homebase blocked my emails of 12&13/9/24 asking for receipt for a lawnmower that I had paid for and collected. Retailers are required by law to provide receipts without even being asked to. Homebase said, after my review here, that they would email an invoice. That is double dishonesty. Invoice means that customers have not paid. I have.
