Homebase - Streatham Vale Reviews 

Went into Homebase on the morning of the 28th looking for some painting supplies. Sue came over to us to see if we needed any help and was so helpful! She was explaining to us the different types of paint to help us narrow down what one we needed. She was so lovely and hilarious as well!

Daniella serve us on the till. She greeted us with a big smile and had a nice conversation on the till with us about our weekend plans. She was also super lovely!

What a joy this team of people are honestly! Couldn’t ask for any better service.

I went to my local store to pick up my order. I had already received a phone call informing that one of the items was not available. When I got there I was pleasantly surprised to find out I’d been given an alternative product, similar to what I had ordered but of a higher price at no extra cost to me. I was so grateful. Due to the item being heavy the lady called someone to help me to take my shopping and my order to my car. The young lad was very polite and kind. I really appreciated this service as it isn’t that often you receive such help.

Junior went above and beyond to help when I wanted to buy some garden plants and the shop was closing. The ladies at the till were also very pleasant despite the fact it was nearly closing time. Excellent service. I love this shop and it’s sad it’ll go soon.

I have been a customer of 'Homebase - Streatham Vale' for over twenty years!!! I have bought everything from electrical tools, paint, wood, etc, for all manner of DIY tasks!!! I say this because, more so these days I have been obsessed with everything 'Homebase Plants'; the array of choice has grown astronomically!!! From the days of just buying Swiss Cheese Plants and Rubber Plants. I say this because, my beloved 'Streatham Vale' branch will be closing in the near future.

I wanted to say, 'Thank-You' to all of the staff, whom have been wonderful over the years. They know where everything is both large and small, for bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, garden and halls.

To Ros, Maja, Annette of the house and outdoor plants and I think it's Tom, the very quite soul of the tills.

Could I also say I 'BIG' 'HUGE' 'THANK-YOU TO Mr. Junior Alves' for being such a great professional. As, one of the many managers' of the years'; he has been such a joy to get to know. Sometimes, you can walk into the store and feel the stress but, through it all Mr. Alves, is always polite, friendly and usually goes out of his way to help you and to have a conversation with you. When you watch him with younger members' of staff, he shows his mentor leadership as well and how his patience, get's the teamwork completed. I wish him all the best, with much happiness and joy for the future, to all the members' of 'Homebase staff'.

Had a query about an item in the Streatham London store, I spoke to manager Roy over the phone who was amazingly friendly and helpful. He then passed on the message to Tarun who was also just as helpful and kind and resulted in helping me with a purchase. Thank you both - you are a credit to your store, great customer service.
