Homebase - Waterford Reviews 

Having purchased several gas cylinders from Homebase, I tried returning a 5 kg one as it’s difficult to get a refill. I still have the original receipt which is also legible. Before going to the Hemel Hempstead outlet I had tried telephoning both the store and the main Customer Service. The store number just rang out whilst CS message said their voice mail was full. I presented my original receipt to the store customer service and after several people looked at the receipt, one guy, Liam, advised they could not refund my deposit as they had changed gas supplier! He advised I should take the case up with the manufacturer. I pointed out my contract was with HomeBase but got no where. Absolutely appalling customer service within the Hemel branch.
Whilst this was going on, another customer was trying to make a return of a four day old product. The guy that spoke to that customer was called Jaimie. By comparison to Liam, who was at least polite, this character, Jaimie, was aggressive and rude to a very polite lady customer. Besides threatening the customer to call the police and accuse her of trespass his body language and mannerisms were very intimidating for the young woman. With two customers having issues it is clearly not an isolated incident.
Homebase; you have need to address your in-house customer service ….. especially at the Hemel Hempstead office and to honour your commitments for the deposit you took on my gas cylinder. I look forward to seeing your response.

From the beginning of redesigning my Old kitchen to a modern one, Patricia from Homebase Waterford was a real gem. We got several quotes and designs in Waterford. Patricia at Homebase was head and shoulders the best based on design, quality and price. I can't thank Patricia enough for her superior design quality and professionalism in delivering what was a tired old kitchen into a bright spacious design utilizing every inch of space available. I would recommend taking Patricia's advise and use their fitter Owen who is flawless and helpful! I recently worked with Patricia in the Waterford Homebase to design a small kitchen for a renovated cottage. Patricia was excellent to work with. She listened to what I wanted, suggested elements, and tweaked the design when I had changes. She was responsive to emails and was always on hand to answer my questions promptly.
She suggested a fitter (Owen) who was also incredibly good. The kitchen looks fantastic and he was very friendly, easy to contact, and worked with me to solve a few small issues that arose during the fitting.
Overall my experience with Homebase for this kitchen was a positive one and they were incredibly competitive when it came to pricing.

Where to start is the question, let's begin with par excellence, made possible by the expertise of Patricia Duranova. Patricia is fantastic and designed, tweaked and accommodated our project from inception to completion. We now have a kitchen, three times the size of the original and a sight to behold. Patricia will also ensure you get additional discounts on tiles etc. Patricia a personal thank you from Martina and me, you made this major undertaking such a simple process.

From start to finish we were looked after so meticulously by your kitchen specialist in the Waterford branch. The girl's name is Patricia Duranova and she quite simply, could not have been more helpful. She assisted us in choosing the kitchen units, gave us some great design advice and was so knowledgeably about the different kithen ranges on offer.The kitchen was professionally fitted on schedule and we're very pleased with the quality of the units. The lads who delived the units from both Northern Ireland and Dublin arrived precisely on time and were very professional in their dealings with us. Thanks to everyone involved at Homebase and particular thanks to Patricia who's design knowledge and customer care was absolutely top class. A very pleasant experience overall and we're delighted with the new kitchen.

I cannot recommend Homebase enough.They are highly professional and very skilled.
I was given plenty of time for the kitchen design sessions and to see what I was looking for being produced on screen in virtual reality was amazing.
Patricia got every measurement perfectly, which made fitting flawless.
Although I had some tricky custom design presses that I wanted, Patricia was able to design a way around these and had a problem solved straight away to the highest standard.
When the order was delivered, everything was there with a little extra trimming. They also give money back for any unused unopened boxes.
