Agreed work to fix a leak in my mum’s roof in January 2024 has not been completed properly. The main issue with the chimney has never been addressed. What’s been most disappointing is the aftercare: the work was guaranteed for a year, the leak is still a problem, but repair has been refused. Even without the guarantee, I’d expect professional pride to be enough. As things stand it seems a lot was charged but very little done.

Went on checkatrade to find a roofer. Went with homecare improvements because of the reviews. I needed them to sort out the chimney leak. They did a roof inspection and caused it to leak. They fixed the leaking roof,but they caused the leak. They never fixed the chimney leak and just caused it to leak worse. They then said they don't guarantee the work even though it says "all work guaranteed" on the contract.

THE WORKMANSHIP WAS SHOCKING AND WAY OVERPRICED!!!!!!

I'm fairly sure HOMECARE IMPROVEMENTS caused the damage to the roof on purpose so they could do a high priced repair job that only takes a few hours. They never seemed bothered with the chimney and clearly that showed when they are not bothered it's leaking again in less than 10 months. Don't want them on the roof again anyway after seeing they do substandard work and have awful ethics. THEY CONNED MY MUM OUT OF £3000 AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED!!!!!!
