Delivery came with a helpful driver who helped unload. The wood is always very dry and always seems to be silver birch (which is at the softwood-end of hardwood logs).

The delivery
The delivery driver rang to say he was dropping it iff. He was not my normal driver so was checking where to leave it. I met him at the door. He was polite and friendly and was careful when handling the delivery and placed them where I requested
