Home leisure direct sold my mate the wrong size pool table and then had the nerve to send me a threatening email about the experience. Best to avoid if your looking for customer service and genuine.e accurately worded descriptions.

Top tier customer support from Columbo and Alex when ordering my first pool table. Both guys were extremely helpful, friendly and understanding when discussing my needs and I was grateful for their assistance on a couple of points. They steered me away from a couple of inexperienced opinions I had and explained their reasoning for suggesting I make some changes to my custom order - further highlighting their experience and expertise. Great service!

Neil amd Liam were excellent fitters. They arrived early on the day and it didn't take long at all. Good service from start to finish. Recommended

Came to see Callum in the Bristol showroom to have a look at pool tables for our golf business. He was really knowledgable, polite and patient with my partner and I. We're not in a position to order yet but when we are there's no doubt we'll be coming back. Thanks again!

Absolute disgrace of a company. Stay well clear with this crowd. They do nothing but lie. The tables aren't the right size and they're delivery takes three weeks longer than promised. And they just laugh at you if you want to refund. The customer service is the worst I've ever come across. Nothing more then a bunch of scammers

Awful customer service.
On website it says 21 days delivery. It took 2 months.
Table is wrong size and they are refusing a refund.
Customer service is awful, will constantly lie and ignore in the hope you will drop it.
Avoid

Order a six foot table received a table that was not six foot !! Customer service is terrible do not order

Poor review selling a pool table thats the wrong width, refusing to take back and give a refund within the 30 days. Awful, dont use

Had picked out the pool table online that I wanted (7ft Signature pool dining table) which said it could be delivered within 21 days. Made an appointment to go to the showroom as best to see it before making a fairly significant purchase.
I was shown around various tables in the showroom, staff very helpful and was happy that the one I picked online was defo the one for me. I placed the order there and then but was told it would be an early August delivery rather than the 21 days stated online (checked online again and still said 21 days - apparently the 6ft version was in stock, so when you specify the 7ft table it also tells you this is in stock, even though it isn't!) Quite a bit of a longer wait than I had anticipated but decided this would work.
The table was finally delivered 2 weeks ago.
It was put together within the hour and looked amazing in my new garden room, but then the issues start.
Firstly no balls arrived with the table (there should have been a standard set of reds/yellows) and neither did the dust cover that I was told would come with it.
Only HLD know why they would deliver a pool table without any balls as they are quite a fundamental part to playing the game.
The delivery guys noted these omissions down and I got an email the same day saying I would get a call within 3 days.
As no balls were delivered with the table I was forced to buy my own set.
From the 1st game it was clear that the table was either not set up correctly or it has a major issue. When the balls go down into the corner pockets they do not always go round the ball return system. They often either just sit in the pocket, or get stuck inside the table (so you have to put further balls down to get them out) VERY FRUSTRATING as if this has been tested once built, this issue would have been immediately obvious.
Still no call back 3 days later so I emailed them. I again got a reply saying someone would get back to me in 3 days.
A week later still no call back so I called them. Spoke to the showroom staff who couldn't help so left a vm for the aftersales team.
I today got an email saying the dust cover is on it's way but the balls are out of stock. No mention of the issue with the balls getting stuck which is really ruining the enjoyment of the table.
If you are considering buying from HLD I would seriously think again. Liberty Games do a very similar pool dining table and I wish I gone to them instead.
Customer service at HLD is absolutely shocking (well there isn't any), and nearly 2 weeks after notifying them of a major issue with the table, no one has even bothered to get back to me about it.

I went with the intention of buying a pool table but going to visit the Showroom and being helped throughout the experience by Charlie just provided the absolute clarity and confidence I needed on the investment. It was brilliant to have someone wanting to get the best for you and explaining the different features and benefits of each table. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough and now looking forward to the speedy delivery in 3 weeks (all booked within 24 hours of ordering).

After doing my own research, Alex explained the whole process to me, offering advice where applicable, and even when i changed my mind after submitting my order, after thinking about our conversation, was very accomodating and instigated my changes without any fuss! Would definitely recommend Alex and Home Leisure.

Alex was a great help. He was extremely knowledgeable about the products, gave very good advice and helped process the order for me.
