The guys were very professional, fast and tidy. Especially appreciated Jim who took the time to do a run through in the flat and reassured me of the process. There was a tiny issue which was fixed immediately and it was a difficult job!

The entire experience from start to finish was excellent. Upon discovering dangerous wiring in my 82 year old mums house, I called Theresa on Sunday 5th November. The survey by Jamie was arranged for the following day , quoted and arranged within an hour due to the urgency of the job in hand. The works were programmed, and completed within 12 days ! Jim was out the day before works commenced to put my mum at ease , this was very reassuring. Grant, Ryan and Martin carried out the works expertly and within the timescales given. They tidied everything up and left minimal plaster damage which was also repaired.
We have received follow up communication which is reassuring, if you're considering a rewire you would be hard pushed to beat HomeRewire.

The job was done to a very high standard, in just two days as promised, and for a very reasonable price. Getting your house rewired could be a stressful business, but we have felt in very safe hands.

Excellent introduction with complete and full information about process. Team arrived on team. Completed the work in agreed schedule. Team very tidy cleaning up after themselves. Very patient in describing work done. Only minor negative was left the carpets loose so needed to get that fixed.

We would highly recommend Home Rewire Scotland. Our initial consultation was with company director Jamie, who was able to give us lots of relevant information regarding what we could expect during our rewire, proposed timescales and suggestions of extras which have subsequently improved the function of our home. The week before the rewire, we were really anxious about the size and scale of the job and what we should do to prepare for the work. Gary visited our property and really put us at ease with his level of experience and expertise. He advised us of where to move furniture in each room to allow the team access to the various points for a more efficient installation. This visit helped settle our anxieties and gave us a clear focus on what we had to do in the days leading up to the rewire. On the morning of the install, Mark, Jim and Gary walked around the house with us, ensuring we were happy with the arrangements and making last minute suggestions which we were happy to go ahead with. We were out of our house for 5 days in total which was short considering the complex nature of our install (converted 5 bedroom bungalow with extension and double garages with over 100 LED spot lights to be installed). We did go back to check the property at different points throughout the install and were delighted at the lengths they had gone to protect the flooring with plastic matting and the switches and sockets for the kitchen and bathrooms were fitted from the other side of the walls to avoid breaking tiles which was a huge relief. The team worked hard to meet their deadline with Stevie the plasterer, on site from the third day, doing an exceptional job of fixing up the holes in the walls and ceilings. On the final day, the team finished by giving the floors and surfaces a good clean. We had expected to have a lot of dust on worktops and floors to mop and hoover, but it had all been done for us which was fantastic. Overall, we were delighted with the service. The team were trustworthy, hardworking, knowledgable and communicated with us throughout the course of the rewire to keep us informed of their progress. 10/10!!

Jamie and the team were very professional and quick to respond to any questions or changes we had. The team rewired our 2 bed semi detached listed building property. The process was much smoother than other rewiring I have had done at other properties.

With over 70 years since our house wiring was installed it was time for a rewire. We knew it would be destructive and with some flat roof some areas difficult to access. The team that took on the work admitted they were challenged but enjoyed working round the difficulties. They were friendly and efficient responding positively to my proposals made from knowledge of the existing installation. In places they used the existing conduit to get to these awkward places and minimise disruption. With raggling into brick walls to conceal the wiring and the removal of antiquated down lighters there was inevitably considerable disruption to the décor. The damage was well repaired with plaster.
A small point here was the extent to which the marking of the exiting plaster extended beyond the immediate area of damage. I also think the hardwood flooring could have been better protected.
As part of the project new downlighters were installed these provide much better illumination than the original fittings and the results have pleased my wife.
As an electrical engineer I particularly appreciate the fitting of the new distribution box with a RCBO for each circuit. This will mean that if an earth fault occurs it will only trip one circuit and not a group of circuits.
The job was finished on time and a couple of snags noted during the handover with one found later on. These were corrected the following week. Overall we are pleased with the outcome and will no doubt appreciate it more when the redecoration is completed.
