Cherene assisted us in 2022 with buying our home in the Netherlands and I recently contacted her again for some input on renovations. Nicky from Homes for Expats was amazing!
She helped my partner and I find an apartment that fit our needs and accomodated our wants. Nicky made an otherwise difficult ordeal into an enjoyable experience and wonderful introduction to the Netherlands. I can not recommend Homes for Expats, and, subsequently Nicky enough!

We used Homes for Expats when moving to the Netherlands and we were incredibly impressed with them. We had originally planned to go with a different company and we’re told that there were not many apartments available for us. We were growing increasingly and frustrated with that other company and I reached out to a friend to express my frustration. He recommended Homes for Expats and that same day that I was told there wasn’t much out there for us regarding a home with cats. Homes for Expats showed me seven apartments!!! They were amazing, professional, and I won’t do another transaction without them. I have recommended them to everyone. When we arrived our agent went above and beyond we felt like we were very well taken care of. Thank you Homes for Expats!!

The Dutch housing market for me is incredibly frustrating and stressful to navigate, and finding a property would have been impossible if it weren't for Cherene and her team. She is always available for a call and has seemingly an endless amount of patience.
The most important for me though is her being the voice of reason to know when to walk away from a deal, because after months of searching you find yourself just wanting to settle on anything.
She understands the market and when its good value vs overpaying, and she has a lazer eye to spot any defects or potential costly repairs

I subsequently needed to relocate due to work, and my first call again was to Cherene to help me with the sale of my property.
Lauren assisted with finding an apartment to rent in the meantime, and now Yvette is assisting me with my next purchase. Such good service that I went back twice!

We arrived in the Netherlands knowing that finding a home can be challenging. Our daughter had engaged with Homes For Expats and was extremely satisfied, so she connected us to one of their associates. Our experience was better than we expected. The agent listened to our needs and desires, and quickly found several options within our budget that met all of our criteria. She then provided assistance with securing the home we chose and we had a lease finalized in less than a week. Homes For Expats also provided assistance with setting up our utilities and explained how to work with our Gemmente to get registered. We highly recommend Homes For Expats and will use them again ourselves when we move this coming summer.
