Honda knows their vehicles have faulty fuel injectors, there are recalls on several models but not the 2018 crv. 35000 miles, bad fuel injectors cost me $2000 for repairs and Honda just says your car... See more

Honda Red Deer was amazing
Honda Red Deer was amazing. This is my second time leasing a vehicle from them. The transition was smooth I got everything that was promised and I am a very very happy customer. Thank you Veronica and Miranda for everything. I would never go anywhere else.
The worst dealers ever
During a recent visit to Cardiff Honda, I was informed that two of my tires needed to be changed. I trusted your team to perform this service correctly. However, immediately after the tires were replaced, a warning sign appeared on my dashboard. Concerned for my safety, particularly as I suffer from an autoimmune disease that affects my mobility, I returned to Cardiff Honda to address this issue. To my shock and dismay, I was dismissively told that there was nothing to be done about the warning and that it should simply be ignored.
The warning persisted, and after four additional visits to different Honda branches for checks, I was finally informed by Honda Chiswick that my vehicle failed its MOT because the tires installed by Honda Cardiff were of the wrong size and unsuitable for my car. This negligence not only explains the persistent warning sign but also placed my safety at serious risk over the last year and a half.

Recently purchased a 2003 accord for $500 and it looked like it had been sitting in the desert with the hood up and the windows down. I didn't have a car at the time and it ran, so I took it home and cleaned it from top to bottom and am simply amazed that a 21 year old vehicle drives this smoothly. Amazing ride quality, super comfortable and roomy with a freezing cold ac and a great original sound system!

2021 Honda Pilot remained parked in the back most of the time
I brought my 2021 Honda Pilot EX-L in for its 35,000-mile service and spent several hours at the dealership. My Service Advisor was Victor Navarro. While my wife and I waited in an upstairs office, we couldn’t help but notice that our 2021 Pilot remained parked in the back most of the time. Despite this, I was charged an astonishing $450.37 for the service. I have photos to support this situation.
Honda LawnMower HF2417
Honda LawnMower HF2417
Just a toy really, difficult to cut even dry short grass, just bungs up. I mainly use it to pull a little trailer with garden tools in it, and use a hand mower. Never again, you need a professional job for these tasks.
bad Start
I brought a Honda HR/V Hybrid 6mounth old I was worried about the battery going flat as have never owned a hybrid and was unsure about the car. .The sales person informed me this never happens !!! The car obviously hadn’t been checked before going out the garage also a wheel chip was supposed to be done and wasn’t.The next day it wouldn’t start.!!! When I rang the garage I was told it’s under warranty call them out. I only purchased it the day before I said to them. I then ask for my own car back and take there’s away as that is a really bad start in my opinion. The manager was very argumentative saying they had lost money on the sale but nothing to what I lost out on. I ended up paying £385 on a car I never owned.I have brought 3 New Cars in the past and never had a problem with the sales manager or the car. Will not go with the Grimsby garage again .

Stay away from Whitby Honda
Stay away from Whitby Honda, especially for used cars. I bought a certified 2016 Honda Civic in April 2022. When I picked up the vehicle my wife noticed the windshield had a bad chip with cracks at the top passenger side. I had just went from the dealer to my daughters about two km away and my wife saw the chip then. I went right back and showed Dan the salesperson. First he said that could have happened when you took it off the lot. I said I was only gone 5 minutes and assured him that wasn’t possible on side streets that are all paved. He agreed it was not likely however I was annoyed he would even go there. He then said because it was above the field of view and on the black part of the windshield (which made it hard to see) it wasn’t part of the certification. I was further annoyed and disagreed. He called the service manager who oversees the certification and he said it shouldn’t have been certified and needs to be replaced. This is an American made car and it would take a couple weeks to order and replace. I said that was fine since this was a second car. I also mentioned the brakes felt rough and they’re was a noise coming from the vents. The service manager stated the brakes passed inspection and we’re fine and the AC noise is normal. So I left my vehicle to have the windshield replaced. I picked up the vehicle once the windshield was replaced and took it home. Later that year when I had the snows rotated for summer, my mechanic, whom I fully trust and has always been straight with me, advised me the brakes and rotors were badly worn and all need replacing. I found this unusual since I had only put around 5,000 km - mostly highway - since purchasing. I asked him why they would have worn so badly so quickly. He said based on the condition he wouldn’t have certified since the wear overall far exceeded mileage driven. So my concern about the brakes at purchase was valid however it was ignored by Whitby Honda Sales and Service.
Now for the AC… during the recent heat wave in early September my AC could not keep the vehicle cool. As I stated earlier at purchase I had mentioned an odd noise that the service manager stated was normal. After some investigating I found that this year and model of the Honda civic has a defect where the condenser corrodes due to the refrigerant used. I called Whitby Honda and talked to the service department and they checked and stated it was an American car however was covered under the extended warranty due to defect. There would be a charge to analyze however that would be waived if it was a condenser issue. If anything else was wrong I would be charged which I understood. I made the appointment to get the AC checked. I brought the vehicle in and when I went through the procedure at Service admittance I mentioned the defect Warranty. The lady at the desk stated there was no warranty since this is a US car. I told her I was assured during the appointment phone call that it was. She then took me to the Service manager who echoed the same. I was really irate at this point having been run around by Honda already. I told him I had advised sales who did not take my concerns seriously when buying the car. I mentioned the issues with the brakes and AC concerns. The Service manager just stated that sales and service are independent which is BS since I bought this car from Honda and bringing it to Honda Service. I could care less about their sidestepping accountability. In the end they basically said it was all on me… the fact that they certified with worn out brakes and a broken windshield and discounted my concerns about AC noise at purchase has nothing to do with Honda. Even though they sold me the car they won’t stand behind it.
The moral of this story is that you need to know that Honda will dodge and ignore any concerns once they have the money. After that they want you to service your vehicle there to take more money that you will spend because of the vehicle wasn’t truly certified. I feel cheated and lied to.
Stay away from Whitby Oshawa Honda.
Rip off artists
Sold a lemon that they refuse to service or return. Broke down twice in the first three weeks of ownership and currently sitting in their service center, service refuses to service it despite an extended warranty.
Inaccurate documentation for Honda lawnmower
The Briggs and Stratton engine in my old lawn mower failed after 33 years. Normally I would just have bought another one but Briggs and Stratton seem to have been having some problems recently so I decided to look elsewhere.
I found a Honda HRG416PK at a garden machinery store. It seemed like a quality product so I took away a brochure to read. It said that the motor was OHC (overhead camshaft). This seemed strange for a lawn mower because if the camshaft was driven by a belt I would have to change it every few years.
I got home and looked up details of the engine (GCV145) on the Internet. The Honda site said that the engine was OHV (overhead valve) which would have been fine so I went back to the garden machinery store. The salesman had no idea whether the engine was OHC or OHV but thought that the brochure might have been created in a hurry by some inappropriate copy and paste. On that basis I bought the mower. The salesman put a copy of the user manual in the box. I read it when I got home and it said that the engine was OHC which was not what I wanted unless the camshaft was chain driven.
I wrote a detailed letter to Honda requesting clarification but they did not reply.
This is a shame as the mower appears to be a quality machine. However, if Honda cannot support their products this is the last thing I will be buying from them.
really wish I could give negative 500 stars. Horribly manipulative and greedy company that operates in just the way that is responsible for the terrible state of the economy
There was a time in my life not many years ago, where I had pretty much decide that no matter what happens, even if I were to become the richest man in the world, I would drive a Honda.
Now, I have decided, I am NEVER doing business with Honda ever again.
I go in and tell their sales people, "i need something with lower monthly payments"
They completely disregarded that and proceeded to try to rip me off epically. They tried to put me in a USED (less expensive than new) honda civic (less expensive model) for a 6 YEAR financial period (less expensive than a 36 month period) for $180 MORE per month than what I was telling them I couldn't afford.
They didn't even care how obvious they were making it that they were trying to rip me off as badly as they possibly could have imagined ripping anyone off.
I was just about to walk out of there with no change, but of course "oh wait, wait, wait, yeah we'll give you a NEW honda h-rv for the same monthly payments as you are paying now". Well, that was clearly the best I was going to get that day so I did what I had to do and I took it. But, that still wasn't the lower monthly payments that I was telling them I NEEDED.
If they can give me a new honda h-rv for 581 per month, than they are most definitely capable of giving me a used honda civic for the lower monthly payments that I needed.
But, they were clearly completely opposed to dealing fairly with me.
NOW, their financial services rep, says "this is how much Honda cares, we loaned you 36,000 so that you can have a car.
BULLSHT!!! you did it "for me because you care"
That is so maliciously manipulative and dishonest to claim that they ripped me off so badly "because they care"
The conversation went on "well, why did you sign the contract if you couldn't afford it"
Yes, what was I thinking reluctantly taking the best deal they were going to give me that day? What was I thinking? Not what were their salespeople thinking, but what was I thinking?
I don't know but by asking me that they are clearly telling me that I wasn't thinking right doing any business with them at all that day, and I won't ever make that mistake again. I will never do business with them again.
Ripping everyone off so they can go home and tell their people "oh they work so hard, oh they have earned what they made"
No. I do the hard labor out there. I do the earning. They sit at cozy desks laughing and joking ripping people off in their efforts to be millionaires and billionaires at the expense of ripped off impoverished people.
It doesn't take advanced logic to figure out why the nation's credit debt is at an all time high
"Mr Normandin cars aren't free" Save that bull for someone who might actually need to hear it. I know cars aren't free but they certainly aren't worth anywhere close to what you are charging me for them.
Don't expect any support if your car breaks
I'm extremely frustrated with Honda. My 2013 Accord (84k miles) has an issue with the torque sensor and is currently undrivable. I have had two mechanics (including the Honda service dealership) confirm that this is a preexisting issue/vulnerability with the car that requires a new steering gearbox. On further investigation, I learned that this is a common issue with Honda Accords from 2013-2014, and there is actually an extended warranty for my very model and year (service bulletin 15-056). Despite this, Honda has not included my VIN under the warranty. I requested "goodwill" support on the basis that there is no reason for my car to be excluded from this warranty that covers other Hondas of the same year when it is having the exact same issue; they have denied my request.
What's more concerning is how intentionally convoluted and complicated this process is. They make it very difficult to speak with supervisors, so you are left talking only with customer support representatives. I have actually received very inaccurate and misleading information, but cross-check everything with NHTSA. So, basically, they make it intentionally hard to speak with anyone who can actually help you, and even harder to get coverage for issues that are clearly their fault.
For comparison, my father had an engine issue with his Hyundai. They recognized and accepted fault and replaced it for him without any hassle.
I’ve been to your service department…over and over
I’ve been to your service department FOUR times for the same repair. Five for diagnosis. Each drive consists of roughly 5 hours round trip. I’ve provided video of the problem occurring. Your tech has duplicated the problem but it remains. The repair was refused and I was told to call Honda America for a “good will” repair rather than the one that is expressed in the warranty (likely more attempted grift)If you want a car with a warranty evidently Honda isn’t it.
I’ve had you tell me that it is caused by window tint when the problem was reported prior and is indicated on your paperwork. I’ve had my front license plate holder blamed although the problem was present and reported per your own paperwork prior to the installation of the item. When your department engages in such antics trust is the casualty along with customer satisfaction and any hope of future business diminishes rapidly. My favorite allegation is where I’m supposedly pushing on the window from the inside (BBB letter) and where you claim that your tech couldn’t duplicate the issue without doing this whereas the documentation from your tech states otherwise. It is this kind of dishonesty that makes people think what they do about dealerships. Be it a reaction to Honda’s policies on remediation for warranty repairs and the profit motive or some other incentive/disincentive…this public derision is absolutely earned. I would add that these responses seem to be applied to repairs that you either find difficult or unprofitable as the physics involved for your claimed cluprits to be true under any conditions would require theoretical physicists to bend the laws of nature at significant detriment to their own credibility. So much for service.
As I didn’t buy the car from your dealership I understand your displeasure in having to fix another dealers problem. It is however, covered under the blanket agreement you have with Honda and comes with the territory. A problem that has been exacerbated by your departament policies as well as Honda’s. It has absolutely made me rethink buying a Honda ever again. In the meantime I will engage in as much of an online display of my dissatisfaction as I see fit regarding this experience.
Addendum, One repair that was suggested was one I would have to pay for- Window visors (external)- I was quoted 283 USD plus another 100 USD for installation. When I looked up the price online from other dealers it was 128USD, a 150 dollar markup for a product I shouldn’t need for a repair that I’m not responsible for…A bumper to bumper warranty that is worthless with additional profiteering by your dealership. I wish I was making it up.
One would think that a dealership would have the know how to repair the item they sell. Guess not at this one. Dave, the service department manager didn’t have much to say on this when I called. He was upset that this review was posted and rather than fix the problem with trying to proffer off of warranty work rather than fix it or the fact that it took video of the event to get anyone to be able to reproduce it, he told me to pound sand. I’d expect many more will have this experience. Save your receipts and get ready for the next recall… Truth can be brutal and not all can handle it.Must have something to do with the D- rating they have on BBB. Thanks Dave!

1) 10 Cars in my Family from Rohrich Honda.
2) 2024 Brand New Honda from Rohrich for my daughter
3) Engine Blew up with only 80 miles on the vehicle!
4) Daughter in the car with my 7 year old grandson at 11:00 pm on a mountain headed towards Maryland - Stranded 45 degrees with no car heat because the engine blew
5) Honda Roadside fails her - AAA fails her tells her "oh well" call the cops
6) Had to call a state Trooper to assist.
7) Rohrich asked me to pay the tow because they were not "capable"
8) Daughter and grandson got home at 3:30am
9) NO CALLS FROM ANYONE FROM HONDA FOR ALMOST 2 WEEKS! NO G.M, NO SEEING IF ANYONE WAS OK! NADDA.......NOTHING!
10) All the people that gave me their cards and said "call me if you need anything" NEVER returned my calls.
Before I continue let me ask all of you mothers and fathers a question:
Would you put your daughter and your grandchildren back into a car that's engine blew up? HELL NO! BUT GUESS WHAT? Rohrich Honda did just that! They refused to take back the faulty vehicle! Kevin "the acting GM" flat out turned his back on me. Kudos to Wright Honda in Uniontown for accepting Rohrichs LEMON and actually taking some responsibility ok back to the story:
11) Did I mention that I also leased a vehicle from there a week before? Guess what? although I don't need it at the moment but guess what? NO HEAT! NOW THAT'S (2) BRAND NEW CARS WITH ISSUES! The Morale of the story here is people:
12) Rohrich Honda does not stand by the cars they sell of of their lot.
13) Upper management ducks and dodges your issues and doesn't return your calls. NO EXCUSES!
14) IF YOUR NEW CARS ENGINE BLOWS UP after being 3 hours old! they don't offer you a new vehicle they just wash you away.
If that's the kind of place you wanna trust? Enjoy! But I say, be careful! there are many other places to go!
