My experience with Honey Lettings
My experience with Honey Lettings, has been a good one. I was renting a property with them for three years and have just moved out. No problems when things went wrong and found them professional.

Terrible lettings agency as a tenant. Tried to take my deposit at the end of tenancy by making several false claims against us. We contested with the DPS, thankfully they ruled in our favour.
This company is comical. Stay away. Aggressive confrontational and unprofessional. Avoid at all costs!
Reference the recent reply from honey lettings on here with regard to a previous referencing request, unfortunately the current tenant of said property is someone we went to school with, who are also incredibly dissatisfied with the service honey lettings have provided. And the reply is inaccurate. We chose to disclose our savings as proof we could afford the rent… only for honey lettings to suggest we pay an entire year up front to avoid losing the property. We now live in the apartment opposite and use Waterford’s who we could not be more thrilled with. Totally unprofessional response from HL as I’m sure anyone reading it will realise. If you’re upset about the review… quit blaming prospective tenants for the way you handle yourselves and do better. Everyone is suffering the pandemic.

We contacted their Fleet office the same day a rental property was added to their website. We were asked a number of screening questions and asked to complete an online questionnaire in order to arrange viewing.
Once submitted received acknowledgement of receipt.
After a week we had not received any update and I called the office and was promised a call back with an update. No call.
I called again a few days later to be advised the property was already under offer to somebody else.
This company had one job to manage rentals and they couldn't have the common courtesy to 1) return peoples calls & 2) inform us without having even viewed said property it had been offered to someone else.
