Bought a cordless vacuum cleaner in February.
Washed the pre motor filter a couple of times and it simply fell apart after just two months.
Contacted customer service and after a little wriggling they agreed to send replacement

I have a Hoover XL deep scrub I have had this without your carpet shampooer since August from August to April and where the solution is held the bottom plug on that came out and it leaks everywhere so I call Hoover and they say because I didn't use Hoover products and I used another off-brand with just a couple of drops of it in water to clean my carpet they won't help me fix it after paying all that money and buying an extended warranty then she commits to tell me there was a oxy in that carpet shampoo solution there is not and for what I used in it it shouldn't have done that I see a lot of people are having the problem with the plug coming out of the reservoir will not be by nothing else from Hoover and will not be buying no more extended warranties from Walmart

Defective out of box. Terrible Customer Service.

Vacuum had manufacturer defective out of box. Called Hoover and they told me I needed to pay out of pocket for repairs and exhaust all my efforts first before they could replace it. I tossed it in the garbage and will never buy Hoover again.

I’m on my second oven in only 10 months…

I’m on my second oven in only 10 months and this has broken down and I’ve had no oven for nearly 3 weeks.
There appears to be no urgency in sending someone to repair it and they do not keep stock of parts in the uk.

Hoover products are cheaply made in China and are of the most appalling quality .

I will never buy a hoover product again and I am going to contact the company who supplied my kitchen and the appliances and advise them that it is not a good idea to sell Hoover products.

We purchased a Hoover Washing Machine…

We purchased a Hoover Washing Machine on 5th December 2023. Model Number: H6WPB610BCR8-80. Serial Number: 3101987523386117. On 22 April 2024 we reported a FAULT with the machine. A part in the drum has come off and we cannot use the machine. We purchased from Currys but was passed to the manufacturer Hoover. They opened a CASE - Ref 15545816, BUT NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. They scheduled an Engineer to come out to repair as per the warranty terms but they did not turn up. I called Hoover service after sales today to be told they don't know when they can schedule an engineer. WE WILL NEVER BUY HOOVER AGAIN. What awful customer service and after sales. We have been left with a broken washing machine and they are not scheduling a repair. We will have to take matters further. When purchasing what you think is a trusted brand you do not expect to receive such a terrible experience.

Bought washing machine took out insurance now it's broke can't get through to hoover number is not in use emailed them no reply insurance won't send out any one want me to pay and send them bill would not recommend hoover products to anyone or domestic and general insurance

Unreliable fridge freezer

My fridge freezer was purchased in 2021. The evaporator fan has failed three time now. The first time was within a few months of purchase.

We were sold a faulty appliance that has been constantly unreliable. Hoover don't take responsibility, they just pass the issue onto domestic and general who we took out insurance with. The fridge freezer should of been replaced when it was still under guarantee. I will never purchase another appliance from them. Awful company and awful appliances.

HWASH 500 washing machine.Given up all…

HWASH 500 washing machine.Given up all hope after 7 weeks without my washer. Less than 3 years old & I live on my own so not over used. Machine was shaking & banging & concrete chunks were coming out underneath.Contacted Hoover on Friday 8th March given appointment for following Tuesday 12th great. They cancelled on 11th! Appointment made with Pacifica. They KEPT the appointment & said needed new drum & concrete weight. Appointment made for repair on 27th,cancelled delay on parts!! No news so rang on April 4th, appointment to repair on 12th April. Engineer came (Pacifica have been good with Texts & turning up) & dismantled old drum etc. Assembled the drum ready for fitting & unpacked the box marked Fragile which contained the concrete only to find it cracked & not usable!!! Appointment booked for 22nd April, surprise surprise appointment cancelled on the 18th due to parts delay! Rang Hoover eventually given an escalation reference. Said I could pay £206 towards a new Hoover Washer,wouldn’t give me cash to buy another make & I won’t have another Hoover. Still got the drum & parts in garage don’t know when they’ll pick them up. They could still charge me for the original call out they said. Absolute cheek! Wished I’d just bought a new washer in the first place saved all this bother. So don’t be swayed by the 10 year parts offer. WHEN they arrive They can arrive faulty & you could be waiting over 7 weeks without a washer. AVOID!!!

Contacted Hoover today to get advice on setting the language on my dishwasher washer

Contacted Hoover today to get advice about changing the language setting on my dishwasher. I purchased a refurbished product from a different provider and the language had been pre set to Russian. Despite me not purchasing this dishwasher directly from hoover, Craig from customer service helped me anyway. He looked up the manual and took the time to look up and acquire the machine display image online to talk me through my issue. He offered advice and I was able to re set my machine back to English after a frustrating week of not been able to work it out and use it! Thanks Craig.

Low quality products/ service

I purchased a Hoover vacuum (same model as my previous that lasted 8 years) and it broke after 6 weeks of minimal and reasonable use. The hose ripped right off while I was vacuuming my couch, so not far from the vacuum. Obviously defective but when I reached out, my return request was denied because they have a 30 day return policy. Nothing else, no offer to make things right or a replacement. Hoover had significantly gone down hill and we will never buy another Hoover product again.

Terrible after sales.

Ordered a washing machine through an online retailer. Installed two weeks after delivery (new kitchen being installed) after just 14 days installation - it stopped working. Wouldn’t spin. Error messages. Contacted Hoover - they said 10 days for an engineer…. I only had the machine delivered just over a month ago. I phoned back twice and eventually had an engineer for the next day. At least 3 faults were found with the machine, and even the engineer said he wouldn’t want it repaired he would want a replacement. So here we go. Retailer advised to call manufacturer. So I called Hoover, who refused a replacement and offered a repair only as del was over 30 days old. I said no, it was a manufacturer fault and that machine should be replaced. They point blank refused - offered me £20 goodwill (has to be a pee take that) and ANOTHER ten days for an engineer to attend, also refusing to release the details of the engineer report (needed an exchange number to provide retailer for replacement machine) I then lost my shxx. Luckily I was on a three way call with retailer who then (when Hoover left the call - fair play to them!) did offer a replacement. Thank goodness this machine was out of stock, so I’ve reordered a Hotpoint through the retailer as a replacement. Hoover are a disgrace. Consumers paying near enough £500 for a machine that only used for two weeks - as it “over the 30 day delivery period” so in their eyes, no matter how much you spend on their product, if it’s faulty then tough - a repair will do. Disgusting service. So, not that they will care, but I would not recommend them to anyone and I will never buy a Hoover product again knowing their after sales care is this crooked. Oh and to cap it, they sent an exchange number today…. But as I’ve written - I had already been offered a replacement machine from the retailer after he was involved in the three way call with Hoover. Don’t buy Hoover. That machine was supposed to be a top spec to of the range washing machine and lasted two weeks after installation!

Customers service at Hoover is…

Customers service at Hoover is absolutely HORRIBLE.
Been trying for days to "talk" to someone and its near impossible.
Called. Received call back hours later and of course missed it.
Been calling now 2 days and can't get anyone.
You can wait or callback. So today decided to wait.
Had me wait 15 min then hung up on me saying no one available to "talk".
Then send message on their "chat". That took almost an hour of staring at screen to not miss them. NOW asking them to "call" me. Someone like to tell me what's wrong with this????
No more "talking" to human anymore???

Appalling service and just an embarrassment

Faulty tumble dryer, 'engineer' has already been out once stating they fixed it and guess what the issue is still there and it's unusable. Been a nightmare trying to arrange a second visit, me constantly ringing as nothing available yet they won't replace and being told conflicting information. They never stick to what they say, don't care at all and really are awful to speak to on the phone. Just an appalling company in general.

You complain and get a copy and paste response, absolutely no help whatsoever and a waste of my time.

Save yourself the bother and buy a decent brand.

Customer Service Ignores me

I bought a hoover vacuum back in December. After 6 weeks and only a few uses I noticed the cord was starting to pull out of the socket. I contacted customer service who sent me to a local repair shop. That tech was very gruff and told me the issue was abuse and I needed to pay $70 to repair a $100 cleaner. I refused and when I got the clean back it wasn't working. It was working when it was delivered to them. I have contacted customer service twice and they refuse to reply back to me. Now I have a peice of junk that I cannot use.

Ohh dear think I’ve made a big mistake

Ohh dear think I’ve made a big mistake. Two washes and my washing machine has broken down. What a waste of time. Trying to sell me additional insurance on a machine that has been used twice!
Then telling me to have a card ready cos there might be a£145 charge if it’s not a parts problem. In your dreams!!! Never had this make before I think I’m going to live to regret it. Ohh and they can’t get an engineer out until next Monday.

I bought a EmergePet+ stick vacuum and have been bitterly disappointed with it. It cuts out on its own. It doesn't clean well. It doesn't pick up small debris well. It is a waste of money and effortin tryingto get it to clean! I would not recommend this brand again.

Bought a smart wash less than a year ago! Tried to use it today lights started flashing , water and solution spaying everywhere ! Tried calling customer support was on hold 45 mins and still no one answered ! Tried their chat and still after 45 min no one answered . So with my carpet soaked in solution and water I went and bought a competitors product ! Hoover really needs better customer support warranty means nothing with out them especially when their is no repair shops close . The 5 year warranty is worthless when you can’t contact anyone or able to get it to a repair shop .

Don't ever buy this brand and don't…

Don't ever buy this brand and don't take out domestic and general cover. So much to say but after months of fault repairs that failed and a damaged kitchen floor due to botched repairs. £1600 to have a new floor and I'm going to claim from them. Sent hours on phone being cut off etc. New one came 27th November was broke by 28th November. Another engineer came said need new one (again) spent 2.5hrs in 1 day trying to sort it. Complaint team called apologising and new one to come today between 230pm and 630pm. Gets a text saying not coming and to rebook. For 22nd Dec, if it turns up I would of been without a fridge for almost 2 months.
