DO NOT BUY FROM HOOVER or CURRYS .
Bought a hoover washer tumble dryer 14 months ago the machine suddenly became a extremely noise on a spin and I then found all this cement dust and a bolt from inside the machine on the floor which had come from one of the cinder concrete blocks that stables the machine when we had a look under the machine the hole of the block had broken up inside , it would seem that this could not of been bolted in securely from new .I spoke to curry’s and because it was out of the guarantee period they would not help me, I then spoke to hoover wha wants £200 to come out and assess the machine, This is totally unreasonable amount of money. My old previous machine lasted 7 years

I bought a Hoover washing machine on January 31, 2024, via a promotion at POCO. The unit arrived with a major defect — the control panel was loose and sank in when pressing any buttons. A technician finally visited in April and confirmed the defect, but nothing has been done since.

Worse, the machine later developed additional issues:

Water clogging inside the drum with no error message

Torn rubber gasket, now leaking water onto my floor

I am an engineer myself and understand manufacturing quality — this is clearly a defective product. I’ve sent multiple emails (to POCO, Haier, Hoover) and even contacted them via their official channels. The case was registered under Vorgangsnummer 15378350 and later 18725665 — but I’ve received no resolution.

POCO refuses to take responsibility, and Hoover/Haier has ignored every follow-up. I no longer want a repair — I want a replacement or refund. If this is not resolved soon, I will escalate this legally and through German consumer protection bodies.
