Established in 1992, Hopes Grove Nurseries are hedging plants specialists with a 125 acre nursery and over 1 million home grown plants situated in the Weald of Kent. Our skilled nursery staff have over 200 years of growing experience between them so our plants are given the best possible start.
We only sell our hedging plants to the end user (not to Garden Centres or other nurseries) so you can be assured of direct from the nursery pricing that you will find very hard to beat. Great plants and great service
I recently ordered 20x Thuja Plicata Atrovirens hedging plants from Hopes Grove Nurseries and I’m really pleased with both the quality of the plants and the customer service provided.
Unfortunately, the delivery arrived a day late due to the courier’s wagon breaking down. The courier did contact me and initially tried to reschedule the delivery for an additional two days later. However, I explained that I wasn’t comfortable accepting that arrangement as there was no way of knowing how the plants would be stored or looked after during that time, and no guarantee they wouldn’t perish.
I contacted Hopes Grove Nurseries about the issue and they jumped on it straight away. Within a couple of hours, they had sorted everything and I received an updated ETA for early the following morning.
When the plants arrived, they were in really healthy condition and clearly very good quality. I’m extremely happy with both the products and the dedicated customer service Hopes Grove Nurseries provided throughout the issue.
I would highly recommend Hopes Grove Nurseries if you’re looking for excellent service and great quality plants.

The Yew shrubs arrived in very good condition and slightly larger than advertised which was great. I did have to re-pot a few that weren't going in the ground immediately. I'll definitely return for more products.

Excellent all round.
I just wish I'd found Hopes Grove Nurseries sooner! Excellent quality plants and hedging, way better than any other online plant and hedging supplier. Healthy specimens with plenty of roots, buds and even some flowering before even put in the ground. Very happy with my purchase. If anything doesn't survive then it's completely my fault as cannot fault the plants or Hope Grove. Highly recommend Hopes Grove and will most definitely use again. Thank you for such a pleasant and faultless experience.

Dead plants & poor delivery…
Whilst I appreciate that I bought bare root hedging at the very end of the bare root season I was expecting the plants to actually be alive on arrival. Sadly, I appear T have bought very expensive brown material for my compost bins, not least due to the minimum order value you set . Not happy!
To add insult to injury, DX did not even attempt delivery on the scheduled day, when I was at home the whole time, delivery was made 2 days later.

Received two weeks ago, plants are extremely dried, most leaves were broken when they arrived. Followed all instructions, socked them in water then planted them immediately with the root food, but some are dead after a day and some are still very weak.
