Disasterous Pre and post Refurbishment
We stopped using this pub for meals because service was so slow. We decided to give it another try as it has been re-furnished and, presumably, under new management. When we arrived at our booked time there was only one member of staff and we had to find our own table. Our meal has just arrived, after 50 mins, leaving us just 70 minutes to “enjoy” our meal before our time slot ends. I will not be giving this establishment another chance. #hornandtrumpet
Further to my previous post the “delicious pastry filled with chunks of steak and a rich gravy” turned out to be a gravy filled tough pastry case with not a single chunk of meat to be found anywhere.
Of the other meals the chicken one was dry and the cheese was hard, the baked potato was also dry and hard around the edges. The fourth meal was acceptable.
While we were leaving we passed three other people complaining about their orders and wanting refunds!
