My mum is in hospital with a fractured…
My mum is in hospital with a fractured back all she can do is lie still all day, the bedside TV stopped working and they have left her for the last 4 days after promising an engineer would visit though they couldn't give me a day never mind a time. If you are going to provide a service then provide the service. My mums mental health has definitely took a blow. How does the NHS allow this contract to continue?
Ripp off hospital tv
Absolute tosch this service charges.£>9.00.For 14 TV channels. ALL FREEVIEW and 5 radio channels hospital radio is just ads for hospedia
This is absolute profiteering of vulnerable people.
Bring your own tablet, laptop or phone and use hospital WiFi.
This is free and better
Daylight robbery
Daylight robbery. This TV system is appalling. Hardly any channels, rubbish films and boxsets. Charging over £24 for three days use. It is disgusting that the NHS are allowing this company to do this to people. Hospedia staff and company owners should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of unwell people.

I am currently in hospital used it a few times expensive and second day could not pay for it i rang them they said the system is down the thing is its always going down needs another company to take over

After a recent stay In the rvi hospital in Newcastle Upon Tyne I was very disappointed to find out that the TV would cost about £10 a day free from 6 till 12 channels 1 to 5 so just morning chat shows. BASICALLY DAYLIGHT ROBBERY
If no stars were an option I'd put…
If no stars were an option I'd put that. Husband moved beds as due to infection and deep clean ignore my voice mails I ran when open again won't anwser at night. Told me I'm not entitled to complain . Horrible staff horrible company . Don't use I repeat don't use. Use tv on phone easier and cheaper
Just exploiting people who are sick and not delivering a decent service.
My Mum was recently admitted to hospital following a heart attack. She was eventually moved to a bed with one of the hospedia televisions. She paid (with my help) £24 for three days television to distract her from the anxiety and discomfort. The picture was awful straight away but just about watchable but then within hours there was just a fuzzy screen. She was too poorly to sort it out and didn't know how to do it anyway so I tried to call to sort it out the next time I visited and I had to leave a message on an answer phone. No response was received for 24 hours so I called again and was told you "might" at "some point" get an engineer to fix it. No timescales could be given at all.
I have worked on a ward and this is not an isolated incident. I have always been against making money out of people who are unwell, but if this is how it is now the system should at least work properly and if it breaks there should be a swift service to fix it without having to mess about, argue on the phone or email to get help while you are feeling awful.
Having something to do and distract you in hospital is important and shouldn't be underestmated.

Paid for 7 days tv got moved beds but you have to ring customer service and sometimes customer service goes offline overnight so had to pay again £42 wasted I complained to Wi-Fi spark on twitter and it magically came back
There needs to be a better solution Wi-Fi spark are working on an iPad based solution but it’s not coming fast enough
Shocking company taking advantage of sick people
What a con... £25.90 for tnt and TV package for 3 days but technically your paying for 54 hours of TV as from 6am-midday is free anyway.. Then £20 for 3 days for sky sports and you only get 5 channels not the full sky sports package you can get directly from sky for £24 per month. This company are taking advantage of sick people and it's absolutely disgusting. The picture quality is shocking as well!!! Please do not get ripped off by these scumbags!!
7 days tv and 5 days sky sports £69 wot…
7 days tv and 5 days sky sports £69 wot a rip off people are in hospital and charging them prices for tv disgusting
Got conned into buying sports and movie…
Got conned into buying sports and movie package.
My sister only ever wanted TV access. I was told, in quite difficult circumstances (for her) that she should take this 'package' including sports and movies...for two weeks. She does not watch sports or movies. That anyway she would be able to get a subscription refund. It turned out that she was only entitled to a refund of £15.00 on an initial payment of £49.00 for two weeks' subscribing, which she only used for one week.
Profiteering much on vulnerable people?
I saw terrible reviews accessing to do…
I saw terrible reviews accessing to do this so obviously the company isn't bothering. However in hospital bored so.. I had a 1 day then a 3 day package at a cost of approximately £28. Its very basic daytime type stations with no facility to hold the programme. Fine thats what I bought. On day 2 it disappeared and I called "customer service". It was a voice mail that was never responded to. I phoned next day selected sales where unsurprisingly there was an agent. He got it up and running. He said I'd get a goodwill gesture. I tel to seek the gesture. I was given 10 hours and I'd lost 11 hours. So I almost got what I'd lost. With no good will. Going forwards I'll watch my programmes on my phone. I'm stuck here 3 days but won't buy another item. Shocking. Also of your paid 24 hours 4 hours is free to all so you're paying for 18 hours. The customer service line you call for assistance is none existent. Ring sales team they're there and can help. It's a total rip off of people who are sick. Also the bedside number your family can call you free on is a premium number. Beware. I can't find any notifications about it so it may be a marketing trick.
Absolutely shocking picture quality and service
Absolutely shocking picture quality: worse than standard definition. Format all wrong so couldn’t see the edges of the picture. After 5 mins on Channel 3 (ITV1) picture pixelated and had to be turned off to reset it but problem kept occurring. Tried to report this but customer service is just a voicemail that no one checks.
If I pay for 24 hours and the morning is free why is this period included in my 24 hour period. Effectively the subscription is for 18 hours and makes it even more of a ripoff.
Oh and the phone didn’t work either.
This was probably a good idea 20+ years ago (and let’s face it the equipment hasn’t been updated since) but the picture and sound on smartphones/tablets is far superior and has left this stuff behind.
I purchased 3 days of Tv from hospital…
I purchased 3 days of Tv from hospital bec as is nice to have something to connect the mind with as con get very frustrating in hospital when I’ll , anyway it was fine for half a day then it stopped the hole ward stopped working (no Tv) I paid just under 30 pounds for this as did the others on this ward , so far a day later nothing has been done at all still no Tv I have ask for compensation and got no reply , it is extremely bad poorly run company who obviously don’t care about people who are ill or nearing end of life , it disgusting to think they take your money but give no help to get your money back or fix the Tv problem
Profiteering Scumbags
I understand that they are providing a service and it's a much needed one to give a little relief to people that need it most, but how can you justify these prices?
Targeting sick, elderly and terminally ill patients with astronomical prices doesn't get any lower!
Profiteering Scumbags.
Rubbish customer service
I changed hospital last night, I registered on the screen in my room, and paid for a package. Immediately after this, the screen blacked out. I have tried calling, but it's just an automated message and you record your message, this was done on my behalf this morning, and I have called twice. Am I going to be refunded?
We paid for a TV package
We paid for a TV package. They took the money but a message said the payment was successful but they couldn't connect the tv. It said to call, but you can't actually speak to someone only record a message and leave an email. This is legalised theft. Do. Not. Use.
Throughout the entire day of viewing…
Throughout the entire day of viewing the pic both visually and audibly stopping, starting, pixilating, it's horrendous. When trying to buy sports it directs you to a customer care button that doesn't exist. Preying on the vulnerable in regards to the cost
Terrible company vulnerable sick people…
Terrible company vulnerable sick people and families being scammed. No customer service just recorded message they clearly don’t care once they have taken your cash. £11 to watch one game of football and it switched off at half time😡 save your money people don’t fall for it.
Very poor at Southampton general…
Very poor at Southampton general hospital paying for phone and movies for my very frail dad . Paid for 3 days on two occasions only got two days of service . Customer service sends you around in circles , then you can only leave a voice mail . The commissioners should reconsider the contract with this below standard provider .
