Triple payment error
On May 21, 2026, I used Revolut to authorize a payment for an invoice from the Hospital da Luz app (MyLuz). I gave a single authorization. The money was transferred 3 times in the same second, resulting in a triple payment. I contacted Hospital da Luz to see if they could help me before opening a dispute with Revolut. After a few days, and after presenting the requested account statements and screenshots proving what happened, the Hospital replied that "After detailed verification of the records, it is confirmed that only one payment was received regarding the invoice in question" and that I should "check the situation with my bank". Since my money effectively left my account and went to Hospital da Luz, I opened a dispute with Revolut to recover my money on May 25, 2026, and to date, I have only received a partial refund.
