JJ- 6CA7 matched Pair : Brilliant!
I don't have enough good things to say about these Valves. I have a Marshall Origin 20 Head, I was finding it hard to like it . A last resort, I decided to try a pair of JJ-6CA7's power valves to replace the stock EL34's, Id tried other EL34 types too but nothing really made the amp a "keeper".
The transformation has been astonishing, the most obvious change was the immediate response from the amplifier. Huge bass and low end articulation, amazing pick attack and very sweet highs. Marshall, please make this type a stock item .
