Initially the service was good but then the cleaners changed weekly and some were not very good. Also, I specifically asked them not to vacuum one of the bedrooms on one occasion as I had dropped an earring. I left a note on the bedroom door and also emailed the office - they confirmed it would not be vacuumed and then they did so anyway. Unfortunately I was unable to ever find the earring again and they barely apologised for it. I cancelled their services after this incident and after months of inconsistent cleaning.

Ordered a sofa about 20 weeks ago not first arrived with the wrong sofa being made so was made to wait another 3 weeks making it 20 weeks since order. Then tried to contact the manager who was “always out” to see if there was any compensation they could give was offered a £75 gift voucher the sofa cost 1200. I shall not be shopping here again shocking customers service

We had only a few hours to clean our 5 bedroom house before we moved out. The removal company had told us that the house would be virtually clear on the day we moved but on the day they had only packed some of our possessions and the house was virtually as normal. Paul and his assisstant managed to work around the removals men and ensured that it was spotless before he left.

Better stay away!!

We employed Martise and crew from Houseproud Bexly to clean our house on a trial basis. Unfortunately I didn't inspect the quality of the clean prior to them departing. I discovered later that they had spilt bleach on our toilet seat which resulted in the surface being discoloured and marked. In normal circumstance this wouldnt worry me but we have just completed a renovation and the toilet is brand new. I contacted Martise and informed her of this issue and she returned to inspect. On viewing she flatly denied that it was her or her employees doing, stating that the marks must have been pre-existing. To cut a long story short, she would not admit fault and was highly defensive. I asked her to leave my property due to her patronising attitude and unprofessionalism in dealing with this issue.

After this experience we will not be hiring a "Professional" Cleaning company again.

I have tried to get a regular cleaner through a few large agencies, hoping they have the very best cleaners, but it was a very painful, disappointing experience. A neighbour recommended a small, local cleaning agency House Proud, I didn't even know they had a website. I now have a reliable cleaner, through a friendly, caring, Putney based agency. Just round the corner from me, I'm happy to recommend them to anyone who lives in South West London.

I also get my laundry and ironing done during the weekly cleaning visit. Happy days!
