We had the absolute pleasure of working with Gill from the Northwich Branch of Howarth on the design of our new bathroom. She was an expert in what is available in the marketplace from many suppliers and guided with a lot of patience into making a decision about the items that our bathroom fitter would install. Gill took up a new position on Chester before delivery when Molly took over to see the delivery and helped the fitter resolve any issues we had. What a great experience working with profession ladies. We can highly recommend Howarth Northwich Branch

From order to delivery the customer service was first class. Original online order was followed by a second order the following day. Both arrived from the local depot on the date specified and the delivery driver was most helpful and polite. Well done!!!

Timber ordered online to complete fencing project. Website easy to use. Telephone call from branch to arrange delivery date. Goods arrived on time and with cheery delivery driver. Will use this firm again.

The trellis which was advertised on the internet was not in stock at my branch and the substitute item was inferior to the item on the internet

Easy to order was on offer too thought delivery was pricey and didn't deliver on time but didn't cause any problems

Ordered a 800kg bulk bag of golden gravel. The gravel was unwashed, wasn’t advertised in this way. The bag had litter in there (coffee cups). In future i suggest you advertise your gravel as unwashed as it’s a messy and time consuming job to clean it.
Cathy from the internal sales team should also work on her telephone manner. Very passive aggressive.

Prices are really competitive, delivery is usually quicker than stated but they always keep you informed.. delivery of goods is excellent driver more than will to help.. very polite.. really good experience..

The web site was easy to navigate around and find what I required. Ordering was simplicity it self and clear delivery charges. Delivery was as stated. All in all a a great experience. Will use this company again definitely.

Very rude aggressive lorry driver this morning shouting and swearing at me in his cab in bury st Edmunds , Big bloke no hair! we don’t need people like this driving a lorry .

Friendly staff who were very helpful when I popped into the shop. Later placed an order online, which was quick and easy and arrived as expected. Seems like good quality timber. The only downside is that there is no notification of delivery either on the day or before, so tricky to plan around. Otherwise perfect!

Just visited the Bury st Edmund’s branch (my local store) and these two men were fantastic, Rob outside is a credit to your company he was great , stoped what he was doing helped us straight away , he’s passionate about his stock and keeping it tidy , nothing was too much trouble, especially when it’s late afternoon and normally people’s mojo is , I just want to get home so gold star ⭐ to him. Aaron in side was great to , he let me talk to him, again gave me the time to , I showed him our garden which I’m so proud of , with the bricks and slabs we have used from you. Gold star ⭐ to him as well , a great visit to the store will definitely be returning when I have another project on the go thanks 🤩

Delivery was made later than was expected. Once I had placed the order I was told that the items were not in stock and there would likely be a 2 week delay. The website initially quoted 3-5 days

Ordered a large sheet of plywood to be delivered. Although I was out when delivered the driver contacted me to check where I wanted it placed. Very good service, no complaints.
