After dealing with Howdens Rochdale for over a year, I can only describe them as extremely unprofessional and very incompetent, I would advise future customers not to entertain holding an account with Howdens Rochdale.

The whole team are always very helpful especially Herbie who always goes the extra mile we'll done Aberdare

We recently bought a kitchen from the Howdens store in Aberdare. From our very first visit to the store the service was exceptional nothing was too much trouble. Becky came to our home to see our old kitchen as it was .. taking measurements and photos in order to design our new one . She totally took on board what we wanted for our new kitchen making other suggestions and giving us options we would never have considered. The plans she came back with were superb we couldn’t have imagined a better kitchen . She was so professional and patient with us nothing was too much trouble. She even came in on what was supposed to be her day off to finalise things with us . Also we have to give a big shout out and massive thank you to the Manager there Kevin Bodger for giving us such a good deal and discount on the kitchen to say we were overwhelmed with the final price is an understatement. Again Kevin was so thoughtful professional and patient with us giving his suggestions and ideas and recommendations.
10/10 for customer service ..attention to detail and price. Will never buy a kitchen from anywhere else absolutely superb. Thank you Howdens Aberdare .

Excellent service throughout the design process.

The staff was very helpful and friendly nothing was to much trouble for them especially Miranda plus the delivery drivers were polite and helpful will definitely shop at howdens again highly recommended.

Staff are Always good to me

Everything is easy, you go to the counter you ask for your materials, you wait a short amount of time, and they get brought to your van,

Bloody hard work trying to get even a small order.

Aberdare depot is excellent. They're all so friendly and helpful, and do their utmost to help you, and nothing is too much trouble.
Their knowledge of all the products is exceptional, and they advise you accordingly if you're unsure about anything.
They really all are a credit to Howdens Joinery!

Even when me and my partner couldn’t agree on what went with what, Rhys guided us through with ease and always had the perfect suggestions. He worked quickly to pull our plans together, even with us changing our minds a few times 🙈, and made the whole process stress-free.

I’m very impressed with Howdens products, we had a new kitchen fitted in July 2025 but it wasn’t straight forward.
Daniel and the team at Aberdare provided a really great kitchen solution to us.
They explained the product options, created a design for us, we changed the design several times and our kitchen was installed, decorated and completed recently.
In particular Daniel’s expertise and follow through made all the difference. It’s not just product choice that makes a new kitchen but detailed design and construction.
We are very pleased with our kitchen and recommend Howdens together with a great builder to anyone interested.

Customer service and attention was commendable.
The manager paid attention to my request and ensured I got what I wanted.

Aberdare Branch - I cannot give enough praise to this branch of Howdens, from sales to after sales! I think I must have dealt with most of the employees there, each and every one exceptional! They are approachable, helpful and genuinely care about the service and experience you receive as a customer. Becky was brilliant both on the design and during the fitting of my kitchen making sure that we were satisfied with everything along the way. Nothing was too much trouble and offered advice when needed. I even returned unused parts for a full refund. Everything ran like clockwork. The branch looks so professional and is run efficiently where management must be commended on this. I would recommend Aberdare branch to anyone and as a result I now have a great quality kitchen. Thank you for everything

This is my 4th kitchen over the years ( house renovations) i have purchased from my local ABERDARE BRANCH, the store manager Kev and his staff are really knowledgeable , professional and friendly.
The new showroom at the Aberdare branch is well equipped with some beautiful kitchens and accessories that actually gives you some great ideas!! From flooring to doors to kitchens and appliances .... this branch as it all .
The new kitchen showroom makes it feel more female friendly ( not saying that it wasnt before as all staff are female friendly and very helpful)

Well done Aberdare Howdens... will definitely be returning.

I can’t recommend Howdens Aberdare enough! The staff are absolutely fantastic—so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. From the moment I walked in, they made me feel welcome and were more than happy to offer advice and guidance.

The quality of the products is outstanding, with a great selection of kitchens, doors, and flooring to choose from. Everything is well-made and built to last, making it a great investment.
