Efficient, Knowledgeable and Helpful staff.

Chloe in the Howdens Portslade showroom designed a wonderful kitchen for us. She knew exactly what needed to be done to make the most of the small space that we have, and did everything that she could to adjust the design to fall within our tight budget. It feels like we have moved into a new flat. The kitchen space has been totally transformed and the quality of everything is excellent. On top of all that - she was very pleasant to deal with and nothing was too much trouble for her. Very calm and confident at all times. She also recommended the installer who did a great job too. We are very grateful and would recommend Howdens to anyone who is looking for a kitchen that is practical, looks great and is built to last.

Old sliders on an integrated fridge door in my new house were broken. Popped in here to see if they could help and the team couldn't have been nicer - they gave me a new set free of charge :-)

Helped by the delivery driver, the sale went very well.

The guys at Portslade were great, from designing my kitchen (Darren) to finalising my order (Ollie) the process was smooth and easy. The delivery was at the early end of my time slot which was a welcome surprise. Thanks to all of you.

I am a busy site manager and have to use all different suppliers and trades for my role.
There is never ANY unnecessary faff or paperwork. They answer my queries immediately, deliver what I need to suit the fast pace of my business, and are generally helpful, and we always manage to have a giggle.
When you're a frequent visitor, you get the personal touch that makes me choose Howdens Portslade over other companies. They go out of their way to deliver what I need.

The quality of their products is second to none. The kitchen units are solid, well-built, and finished to a high standard. Whether you're looking for modern, classic, or shaker-style kitchens, they have a fantastic range to choose from. Delivery is always prompt, and everything arrives in perfect condition.

Howdens portslade is our local depot. I’ve been dealing with these guys for many years, along with my good friend Magdy. The service from Ollie and Rich all the way up to management with Marc and Carl is always helpful with a friendly smile. They always have the best trade days with lots of good offers. Thank you for always being so welcoming

Very regrettably, we purchased a kitchen from Howdens Portslade in December. They made more than one mistake with the delivery, which resulted in extra costs as the fitters could not carry on with the job. Additionally, the quality of the cabinets is substandard. (When getting quotes for the fitting, a tradesman suggested Benchmarx being of superior quality and, sadly, I guess he was right!)
Disappointingly, as they don’t deal with the fitting, they shifted the responsibility onto the fitters and viceversa.
I would absolutely not recommend them and, as some other reviewers pointed out, the whole notion of selling on trade accounts just highlights that servicing the final customer or customer’s satisfaction is not in their focus at all.

I had to see Ollie again at the Howdens on Portland Road (Brighton-Portslade Depot) regarding my order, and as always, he was highly professional. It’s always a pleasure to see him—he is consistently polite, to the point, and professional.
