WOW, what fantastic service. They went well beyond to help my mum choose her perfect kitchen, no time restraint or hassle nothing was too much trouble to show her options, even opening new boxed doors so she could get the feel of her new kitchen. They were all fantastic but particularly thanks to Neil what an absolute star.
Thanks guys
Highly Highly recommended buying your next kitchen from HOWDENS.

I like Howdens and prefer to fit their kitchens. However, to be honest the last couple have been hard work.
Very difficult to get a quote from them and the client/end user wasn’t very impressed.
Lots of ‘stuff’ missed of the plan/quote. This meant that there was a fair amount of extra costs for things that really should have been included in the plan. If you add to this the build quality and amount of damages it’s almost not cost effective to fit a Howdens kitchen anymore.
The branch were great sorting thing out but really it shouldn’t be needed.

Purchased a Howdens kitchen 18 months ago with a integrated Lamona dishwasher. The dishwasher broke on boxing day. We have spent a month trying to get a resolution and fix the dishwasher through one of Howdens sub contractors "the repair guys" Exeter. The warranty for their products are pretty useless because the sub contractors they use to repair the appliances are dreadful

A year after the kitchen was fitted they came out to help me sort out a door. Really kind and attentive

We have used Howdens for several different projects, including our own kitchen. However we have recently experienced poor and rather unhelpful/arrogant customer service putting blame on us, which is particularly galling as we were returning customers.
Over the past summer we enlisted Howdens in Exeter (Dunns Business Centre) to design and provide a kitchen for a small space within a rental flat. Our builder did an excellent job with installation, following the design given to him by Howdens. However, after installation we saw that in one corner a lower cabinet door of 30cms was used for a much larger cabinet carcass, which extended far to the left of the door, making accessing the entire cabinet space unwieldy with such a small door. This awkward design renders a good deal of the cabinet space unreachable and therefore unusable. We wrote to the depot and spoke to the manager to shed light on the issue, and later also wrote to Howdens headquarters. We were taken aback by the depot manager who argued with us that the issue should have been caught by ourselves or our builder prior to installation. We believe it was a design flaw from the get-go and it would be up to Howdens to make amends (ie, refund the cost of the cabinet and door) as they should have had better design sense. The depot refunded us £60 for a splashback we'd never even ordered, so that came as a surprise!
In addition, in a reply to our complaint, Howdens headquarters supported this decision and laid blame entirely on ourselves and our builder and assumed no responsibility for an inadequate design.
Very poor service from a company for which resolving this issue favourably to a client who has used their services several times could have been handled much better. Highly disappointing.
