Would highly recommend

I've used HRGO Ashford a lot over the past year and I can't fault them.
They know exactly what I'm looking for and have supplied me with some really good employees.
George is a great guy to work with and always does his best to help.
I would absolutely recommend HRGO Ashford as the recruitment agency to use.

Terrible

Terrible, terrible, company. Dealing with their Wakefield office regarding a job in Doncaster. Applied for said position they were handling on behalf of a local client. Submitted an application with CV and detailed cover letter, outlining 21 years of work experience and explanation of why I believed I was an excellent skill match for the advertised position. Spoke to Adam who advised Sophie would give me a call to discuss following submission of the application. Application was subsequently ignored. Called back and spoke to Sophie who advised they had not received the application, however then proceeded to ask me “how long my notice period was?” (Without me telling her I was already in employment)? Must have some sort of mystic mind reading ablilty, to establish I was already in employment without being told?) Then said she would call me back. Waited for a full week with no contact so chased up again. Got through to Adam who said Sophie was on the phone at the moment, then said “oh hang on, oh no she’ll phone you back” (queue a supposedly frantic Sophie shaking her head and making slashing throat signs in the background) Not quite sure what their issue with me personally is? Perhaps they are confusing me with someone else? Who knows? To sum up this is an extremely unprofessional recruitment company that is best avoided at all costs!

I submitted all my documents

I submitted all my documents, and information for hire. I was then directed to do a police clearance but was unsure which option to purchase. I asked for help, and no one returned my calls. After several calls and emails, I still have no response. Don't apply here.

Liverpool office

Liverpool office. Disgusting treatment of people with disabilities and behaviour issues. I have depression,ADHD and personality disorder. Released me and blamed the client saying they had made complaints and when I asked to see they made numerous excuses and still haven't given a reason. Bullying on phone by deliberately being rude and failure to recognise my disability and constantly trying to get a reaction from me.

Misleading, unprofessional company with no care towards there employees ( backwards work ethics and morals )

I have copied part of my formal Complaint to the company below.

•Holiday Pay.
Pt1. From the very get go of being employed I have found it extremely difficult to get entitled holiday days approved or paid for. I raised a complaint about how I spent 4 plus months requesting holiday for later in the year and when it came to it was paid and granted it only hours before I had to leave for my break. This caused me great mental stress due to the fact that I had to make many changes to my plans, cancel booked activities and trips to see loved ones I haven’t seen in over two years because of Covid because I wasn’t paid or granted my holiday until I was leaving that day. This has upset me deeply, I was promised this would all be accepted and actioned multiple times but in fact it wasn’t and I had to chase up my own holiday. No light way to put this but employees of the company have LIED to me on many occasions and not kept to their verbal and written word.

Pt2. I have been back and forth relentlessly over many months, a simple process of paying me the holiday I'm rightly entitled to being dragged out . Spoken and written to many of the employees of HRGO but most Laura Baxter. Promised it will be paid out week after week after week. Sent holiday pay calculations and informed them that with what they work out holiday pay to be that I’m still owed. I was paid £43.00 which is just over half a day’s holiday pay as my final payment and I find this insulting.
Then being informed that I owed you £300 plus over payment. This matter was raised once by HRGO. stated I don’t owe any of this and have checked my bank statements and asked my bank for these details which don’t match anything stated of the amount overpaid. This wasn’t chased up or ever discussed after what I see as a throwaway comment to stop me from chasing up on the money I’m owed. This is incredible unprofessional and playground behaviour from a big company.
I have 14.5 days outstanding ( £81.00 plus 14.5 days is £1,174.00 )

•Misleading information.
I have been given on many occasions misleading information even before starting the company. I was promised this job would pay for our mileage allowance. This was not the case and I have had to cover out of my own pocket lots wear and tear ( two sets of tyres ) ( change of insurance due to increased mileage) ( service cost because mileage, oil, brake fluid, brake pads etc ) I have spent more of my own money than paid money from the company on maintaining my car and fuelling it just to be able to work.

Misleading Information is lying and having people that you think should support and have your back in a company lie to you is honestly a big toll on your mental health and unprofessional behaviour. Lying is bad and worse from a company and multiple staff.

That our contracts were constantly changing without acknowledgement or consent of employees.
•Breach of working code of conduct.
You have not been honest and transparent as a company, in many instances. You have not once been apologetic for your errors, beating around the bush, misleading Information and failing to stick to written/ verbal promises of deadlines. Moral I think this is disgusting behaviour towards a person let alone an employee of the company. Which means you also breach the work code of conduct, of professional behaviour, respect for others, concern for others. I’m not the only person who has endured this treatment in the workplace and have many work colleagues to provide statements with this matter and their own experiences.

•Moving forward.
I have now involved my work union, as I see all of these issues raised are now a legal matter and the Cambridge citizen advice bureau. I have also passed over this letter and further details regarding this whole process to watchdogs bbc, the Cambridge bbc, My gp, Social media platforms as this is not something to be belittled.

Please see check out many poor trustpilot views.bad reviews is not something a company should be happy about and I would advise that the work ethics of this company be looked into immediately had changed for the greater of staff, employees and your reputation.

Perfect agency if you are a member of the BNP!

I have to say that after 25 years since I last was a temp, I was beyond nervous, however Jessica and the team at Ramsgate HR GO made me feel so at ease, took me through everything step by step, calmed my nerves, visited me on my first day ay work bringing my contract personally to me and supported me every step of the way.

However you are treated as a commodity and when something terrible happens to you are left to rot. They will lie through their teeth if it will benefit them even if you have written evidence to the contrary. They turnover £2,000,000+ from one council and they will cover up anything that may jeopardise that contract, they call it the double delete policy (delete delete).

Don’t expect confidentiality either the amount of gossip shared with me about ex employees was shocking. They are huge supporters of homophobic abuse, discrimination and physical assault.

Google their chairman Jack Parkinson to get a real idea of what this business is about.

Worked for Serco via HRGO I was given a laptop from Serco via HRGO. I gave my notice as requested and I was advised someone would be in contact to let me know when to take the laptop back. When someone did call me they advised someone would call me to arrange a pick up, this did not happen then I got a rude email from LAURA GRAHAM-DEAN advising a legal team will be in contact for my laptop when I called to advise the above I was met with a disgusting unhelpful LAURA telling to to mind my attitude instead of unstanding my frustration at being threatened with legal action. Have fun working with this company they have 0 communication and u probably won’t get paid correctly

New job at the start of a pandemic

Leaving a job at the start of March 2020 turned out to be a very worrying and stressful experience. With the country closing down and jobs being pulled from postings I was delighted that after 6 weeks I came across Sharon Bartholomew at HR Go Stockport who was recruiting for temporary staff at one of the first Covid-19 test centres in the Nort West. Sharon turned out to be a very professional, personable and reliable recruiter. At times it was difficult to speak directly over the phone due to her workload but I soon realised email was the best form of communication. Queries were answered and resolved efficiently and weekly payments explained and paid on time during my 4 month contact. An assett to the company, thank you Sharon you were a constant in a time of worry and confusion.

Ashford Branch ,Worked for this lot for 7 months

Worked for this lot for 7 months , if you want to never get paid , get paid for one day instead of 5 , never get your holiday pay, no body ever answering the office phone to sort problems out , they did sort it out in the end but it’s not good enough, I was stressing every payday then don’t work for these clowns , it’s a shambles ,week in week out always issues with pay if I could give no stars I would , I’ve worked for other agencies without any issues , thank god I’m now in full time employment,
UPDATE
1 month on still no holiday pay, and no reply to emails, phone calls , the place is a disgrace
