I’d like to say a massive thankyou to the staff at the Birkenhead H Samuel’s. Especially the young lady that took my details about a month ago I think it was Emma or Emily. Today Lisa rang me and oh my days I was totally ecstatic when Lisa said that a back to the future Casio watch was in stock. Absolutely amazing service. There were some glitches with the H Samuel’s website but Lisa persevered and honestly she was fantastic as I was on edge and didn’t want to lose the watch as it was for my twin nephews, I already had one and was desperate for a second one. And as luck would have it we are flying over to see them this weekend. I wasn’t having a great start to the day as my boiler was leaking but this certainly cheered me up.
A massive thankyou for the great customer service provided by Lisa.

Bad in store experience great online experience
After visiting the Birkenhead store we decided to make our purchase online as the lady who was helping is in the end turned out to be very rude.
I was with my mum as we were shopping for my daughter’s 1st birthday gift and she just happened to mentioned another store. With that she snatched the bracelets I was holding out of my hand and slammed them down back into the cupboard and told us to just come back when we can make up our mind. I will never be returning to that store again.
The lady in question looked to have a chipped tooth and maybe needs a little training in customer service.

Amazing customer service
Friendly, professional and committed to excellent customer service.
I brought my watch in for repair mid July and accepted the quote immediately. It became an ongoing saga and sat with the workshop unti late October, despite Helen and the team chasing it several times. At this point Helen called me, apologised for the delay and informed me that I would not be paying the costs as it had taken so long. This shocked me to begin with.
On following up early November, there was a note on the system from the workshop to say that the cost for repair to my watch had now more than doubled and did I still want to proceed (4 months later!).
Helen again reassured me and stuck to her word, continued to chase the repair and I received my watch back yesterday and the cost was covered by their branch.
This is customer service at its absolute best. If I could give a 15/5 star rating I would.
Helen and the staff were all lovely to deal with and dealt with the situation very professionally and courteously.
Had they not been so amazing, I would have complained regarding the length of time and then after 4 months, the sudden dramatic change in quote, which is extremely unprofessional. This cost, in my opinion, should not have been the responsibility of the branch, but rather of head office.
I am highly impressed by the service I've received and I can only say thank you.

We called at Samuel
We called at Samuel, in Birkenhead to collect a ring we had been resized for my mother. The ring was very sentimental as my father had purchased it in New Zealand, and my father passed away a year ago. My mother was very emotional but the staff in the store were just absolutely amazing, when i explained why they were very sympatric and just very considerate.
My brother and I made a purchase each as it is a lovely store, but we like to go to the store due to the staff, I don't know everyone's name but 2 of the ladies wore glasses and there were some younger staff there as well. All of the staff are very kind, helpful, polite and very professional and I hope you let them know of my comments, I have to go back there later this week to collect the ring I ordered. Looking forward to seeing them.

Excellent customer service
My husband purchased a white gold wedding ring and a platinum engagement ring for me approx 18 months ago. The wedding ring began to turn back to yellow gold quite quickly, due to wearing two very different metals on the same finger (did not know this at the time). The wedding ring split where it had been resized and my husband contacted the store, not expecting much joy. Not only did the store repair the ring, but rhodium dipped it. It is literally as new. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I am over the moon with both the initial and after service. 5 stars.

Happy enough with the watch so far but the lady at the store made an absolute mess of my guarantee card when she stamped it. I know it shouldn't be an issue but what I had hoped would be a perfect purchase was spoiled somewhat.
The reason I went to a proper store and not messing about with online sites was so everything would be perfect. Oh well, can't have everything I suppose.
