Poor quality product and company

I bought a king sized “cooling” blanket for a gift. They gave a free set of “cooling” sheets with purchase as well. Neither are good quality. I tried to leave two separate reviews on the site and they won’t post them. They’re poor quality and I don’t like the material. They are not cooling. Sheets are way too XL, blanket is way too small for king bed. Shows all water stains from dog drool. Impossible to wash and zip/unzip, not allowed to dry. Should’ve read more reviews because the site only posts mostly positive ones. Can’t return as it would cost over 50 bucks because you have to pay your own shipping. No such thing as “100 day risk free trial” when you have to pay. Very disappointed, waste of money for how expensive it is.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE

I ordered a blanket over a month ago. Website did not mention anything about back order and nor did they ever email me to tell me it was. I had to reach out to be told it was back ordered. Over a month later still no shipping notification. Go to cancel my order and they will not cancel it but they had no problem charging my card for something they couldn't fulfill. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Not my fault you don't have inventory to ship and make the customer wait months to receive an item. Absolutely brutal

I would not recommand buying this…

I would not recommand buying this blanket since 17 months after we bought it and had only washed it once (following the washing recommandations) the zipper fell off so we cant put back the cover on. We tried to get it replaced or repared with Hush but were told that there is only a one year warranty and there is nothing to do. I have bought a cheaper one on Amazon for my son and after 3 years of using it and washing it there is no issues at all. Poor custumer service with Hush, verry disappointed. Especially after paying more than 350$ for it.

I don’t even feel right giving these…

I don’t even feel right giving these guys 1 star. This is the absolute worst customer service I can ever recall in my life. It's absolutely dreadful and almost like they are trying to be terrible!

Their return policy is absolute BS. I am over 3 MONTHS and haven't received my blanket cover or sheets and they wont even let me cancel my order even though they are now out of stock and no idea when I will receive my order. The responses I get from their customer service are a joke and offer no answers or solutions. I cannot stress enough how awful this experience has been. They charged $380 to our credit card and we have recieved Nothing from them. We ordered Nov 18 2023. Today is feb 26 2024. I will tell everyone I know NEVER to buy from them. They take your money and give you nothing

DO NOT BUY

DO NOT BUY ! I purchased a blanket for 300$ they decided to not bill me in 1 payment but 4. They then never charged the other 3 payments. I was never contacted once that i owed anything and no my credit (that i have been trying to fix for years) has been affected. Of course there is nothing they can do, had i been contacted by phone or email i would have paid immediately.

Terrible Customer Service

I wish I had read some of these reviews prior to placing an order with Hush as it may have prevented a great deal of frustration that I experienced.

I will start by saying that the product - the classic weighted blanket - is great. It is good quality and the materials were nice. Unfortunately however, when I received mine, it was defective. I ordered the white blanket and when it arrived, they had tied it with a green ribbon. The gesture was a nice idea ... but the execution was poor. Everywhere that the green ribbon laid across the white cover, there was a green line.

I contacted customer service immediately and they offered to send me a replacement. I asked them if there would be instructions included on how to return the original one and was told that I could keep it and do with it what I wished.

The shipping for the replacement blanket was a bit slow, but I finally received the replacement blanket. And yes ... it was also tied with a green ribbon and also had green lines all over the cover. I contacted customer service again and was told that they were going to expedite the matter to management and would get back to me ASAP with what to do. I hadn't heard from them so I contacted them again 3-4 days later. I was told they still had not heard back from management yet, but I should expect to be contacted within another day or two. A week had now passed, so I contacted customer service again. This time, I spoke with a different customer service agent, and this individual was very rude. Long story short, the individual refused to issue a refund or send out another replacement until I sent both blankets back to them. I explained that I had no problem sending back the blankets (even though I had been told I could keep the first one) but that I wanted to ensure that I received a suitable, not defective replacement first. The customer service agent had a very derogatory attitude and it was clear that she was more or less accusing me of trying to just get free blankets. I assured her that I had zero interest in keeping two defective products and that they could have them back once I received a confirmation that they were sending a proper, non-defective replacement. This argument went on for quite awhile, with the individual displaying the most horrendous customer service I have ever experienced. I asked to speak with a manager and was told that "Managers are very busy and don't have time to speak with me". I explained that I too, am a Manager and also do not have time for this kind of nonsense.

Eventually, the agent put me on hold. When the agent finally returned, she said that she would be sending a replacement blanket and a return shipping label for me to return the first replacement blanket (only). I verified that I would not be charged for the shipping and she said that no, it would be prepaid.

When I received the second replacement blanket .... it once again had the green ribbon and yes, the green lines. I had had enough - I was done with this! I immediately went online again, processed a return/refund due to the product being defective and requested a return shipping label. I included notes indicating that the product was damaged/defective and was not being returned for any fault of mine. I was no longer interested in trying to get a suitable replacement, and just requested a refund. When I received the shipping label, the instructions noted that $65 would be deducted from my refund for the cost of shipping. I sent an email and included all of the pertinent details, asking why I would be charged shipping to return a defective product. I never received a response to that email.

I was refunded the partial amount - deducted $65 to ship back a product that was defective due to Hush's own negligence/fault. I would have thought that a reputable company would take pride in their products and want to ensure that a customer received top quality goods. However, that certainly was NOT the experience here.

This was the first purchase I ever made with Hush, but it will most certainly be my last.

WORST COMPANY EVER!!!!

WORST COMPANY EVER.
I ordered a weighted blanket back in December 2023. The package arrived really quick (impressive). Unfortunately I needed to return the product as someone had already received this item as a gift. Therefore, the weighted blanket was still in the box that they sent. After several calls, many operators, several chats, and continuous back and fourth emails, an operator directed me to return the product back to the warehouse in Mississauga. I sent the package and still, to this day, no refund back to my payment method. THEY ARE RUDE, unprofessional, and extremely not helpful. Here we are in February, still no refund, no call backs, and no update on my return. If you want to save yourself a headache or any type of stress, don't even bother with HUSH.. what a waste.

Ordered several hundred dollars worth…

Ordered several hundred dollars worth of products from them and waited MONTHS to get them. Nobody was communicating with me during this time. Each time I reached out, they gave me a new BS estimate for their delivery timeline. It's been three months and I still haven't received all ordered products. They happily took my money right away. Will never order again!

If I can give this company a negative I…

If I can give this company a negative I would. we got this blanket as a gift for Christmas less than three weeks. The threads are coming apart. I spoke to customer service and there’s nothing they will do even the warranty is up for 100 days guarantee that they would replace it and they will do nothing. My customer service rep’s name was Lisa and she just ended the call before we could even discuss options and then when I spoke to customer service on their chat, same thing just ended the chat without any thing resolved. very rude customer service. They do not stand by their warranty and they’re guarantees I’m pretty sure all the reviews are fake and bought.

Iced blanket cover defects

I bought an iced weighted blanket for my vacation rental over a year ago. I was very happy with it and our guests loved it. I needed a new cover for it so I ordered 2 to have more back ups. On one of them the zipper wouldn’t work and the other didn’t fit. I had definitely ordered the correct size but the dimensions seemed to be wrong and the corners wouldn’t line up. I contacted them and they sent me a free one to replace the one with the zipper issue. Nothing was ever said about the one that didn’t fit. The new one arrived and lo and behold, it also didn’t fit. I contacted them again and arranged a return, in which I had to pay for the return fees. I waited several months and ordered another cover hoping that they had sorted out the issues. Again, the zipper would not work, it gets stuck and won’t zip up.
I would highly discourage anyone from buying their products. For supposedly being made from high quality materials and charging very high prices, they’re clearly being made very cheaply and poorly somewhere overseas.

I wish I'd done more research on HUSH

I wish I'd done more research on this company. "Terrible customer service" doesn't begin to cover it. They don't get back to you by email, they barely respond by Chat; try to return an item (it was a gift, came late and without any response to my emails, I had to purchase something else) and they will charge you a hefty fee - in my case, the fee was roughly 25% of what I'd paid: $25.72 on $96.11. Usurious. Don't give this company any of your money!

HUSH filters reviews on their site!!!!!

Anyone else writing a review here because HUSH filters reviews? Ive tried 3x to leave reviews that are honest about some of their products - I was detailed and fair, each time I go to the site to see my reviews ...there is nothing there!....weeks pass and I see reviews posted from the same day that I tried to post BUT no reviews from me posted --- pretty deceptive and definitely NOT honest. This company's lack of transparency, deceptive marketing/ BS guarantees and promises along with their TERRIBLE customer service give Canadian companies a bad name -

Horrible Service

I ordered a mattress cover and cool sheets in August 2023, I just got a notice yesterday that they were going to be delivered....it is now JANUARY 2024!!! There is no way that I can find to cancel orders.

I received a notice a few minutes ago that it had been delivered. IT HASN'T BEEN. I reached out to customer service, and they said it was up to me to deal with UPS about the delivery.

Terrible customer service.

The blankets are well made. Thoughtfully designed and my kids enjoy them. But that's if you get your order. Seeing other reviews, alot of people failed to. Fortunately, I finally did in the two instances I ordered. Took weeks; however. Contrary to what's advertised. Do not believe the expedited shipping nor add it to your order. Your order will wait a long time / same time, no matter what. Should you have to follow up with customer service, expect no response. Then weeks later, when they finally respond, it'll be condescending "by the book" corporate speak that doesn't address your question and conveys they couldn't care less. I won't be back. No product is worth this level of aggravation.

Free returns? NOT

I thought the weighted blankets would help me and my husband sleep better, but they didn't so when I went to return them I found out that what I THOUGHT was free returns is only free if you want a store credit. Otherwise they are charging 30% of my purchase price as a return fee! several exchanges of emails later, still the same story. I am very upset that I wasted my money on this.

I asked the customer support person Alex for help and they didn't care. Blankets and stuff are expensive but work fine. Their rewards system is busted. They want you to keep buying something every 180 days to keep your points. I tried to buy something new today and realized that my several thousand reward points expired without notice. Why offer the program at all?

**I DO NOT Recommend HUSH products Iced…

**I DO NOT Recommend HUSH products Iced 2.0 Original Cooling Weighted Blanket nor their products.

**NOT TRUE to their “100 Nights Guarantee”**
We bought the 2x items-- Queen sized Iced sheet set & HUSH 2.0 Iced Original Weighted Blanket.
Both products did NOT have the colors I wanted that was offered on their website; however, I was fine with other colors instead.
Our main issue is with the HUSH 2.0 Iced Original Cooling Weighted Blanket—it felt like being completely ‘trapped’ under a FREEZING COLD cocoon & was so heavy that it was difficult to actually crawl in/out of the blanket. IF You suffer from any arthritis type conditions (eg. osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis etc) and/or suffer from muscle stiffness/muscle weakness –We DO NOT recommend this Hush product! The blanket also truly felt too COLD, not ‘cool’ as advertised—this is our experience. We requested a REFUND (we are almost certain that we clicked “REFUND” VS. “giftcard” on our computer; however, Hush emailed Us a “GIFTCARD” instead. After MANY WEEKS of ongoing wasted time and communication with Hush Customer Service agent (Mahelie Marsan); HUSH refused to provide a “REFUND” to Us! Therefore, their 100 NIGHTS GUARANTEE is FALSE ADVERTISING.
BUYERS please please be very aware!! IF You are not satisfied with your purchase, You will NOT get the REFUND they advertise!
We rarely write poor reviews; however, we truly DO NOT recommend HUSH products.
(We received our order in October but we're still dealing with Customer service in December 2023).
