Icarus tv and Alitv have RIPPED ME OFF

Icarus tv and Alitv have RIPPED ME OFF! Icarus tv send me a defective tvbox which was not programmed and unable to access any tv channels. I paid for 1 year service and the TV box. I mailed both back to R. Jean in Quebec, express Canada post with tracking number with shows the package was received! A year later I`m still asking for a refund!! Icarus TV is a TOTAL RIP-OFF!

Rewind/Forward Issue

After one hour of viewing a channel, it will freeze on you so you need to reset. Also, you can’t rewind or forward less than an hour so if a show start at 5:30pm, you will need to rewind to 5:00pm and wait until the show start at 5:30pm. If you rewind at 5:30pm, the channel will start at 5:00pm and not at 5:30pm. My Icarus box is wired to my network at 100MB of data stream so the issue is not on my side. I hope they will fix the frame freezing issue and also the rewind/forward so we can select a specific time to start the viewing.

Loving my IcarusTV

Customer support is top notch. They have answered all my questions, and I have bombarded them with questions, almost to the point where I feel guilty about it! Quick replies, helping me get to know the functions of the service. If you're making the jump to IPTV, then IcarusTV is the way to go. They will help you!

Customer Service as it should be.

I have to say Customer Service at IcarusTV is one of best I have ever come in contact with. I am still a newbie in the Icarustv family of customers and have to learn how to really enjoy all it has to offer not only in English speaking countires but in other countries of the world.
I am trully excited about all the possibilities..

I am fairly new to the TV box/live TV…

I am fairly new to the TV box/live TV age and Icarus was very helpful and understanding. I could follow there instructions easily and got my package installed with only a few hiccups, which I caused. I would recommend Icarus for a live TV package.

Save yourself the headache

I purchased a one month subscription last week, to use with my android box. Every time I contacted customer service, it took 1-2 days to even receive a response. Almost every response was from a different person, they all weren’t helpful and the service ended up not working for me (received an error message saying that the app they had me download was corrupt) I provided a picture of the screen with this error message twice. When I asked for a refund three different times, they kept ignoring that and asking me to do the same things I had already done. Finally today after I contacted my bank to stop the payment and cancel my credit card, I received an email from the icarus team saying that they cannot issue a refund because “the service is already in my name”. Avoid these guys, if the service doesn’t work you won’t get refunded and will wait days to receive their “support”.

UPDATE: icarus tv even went as far as to report my review, claiming that they couldn’t find me in their customer database, even though I provided them with my full name, customer invoice number, and the same email that they were still contacting me with and sending spam to. These guys are really another level of dishonest. Look in their Trustpilot profile, you’ll see that about 13 bad reviews were removed because they always claim the people weren’t really customers. I provided Trustpilot with screenshots of my experience so they put my review back online. I’m thinking unfortunately most other reviews got removed because the reviewers just didn’t bother to do this. Avoid these liars.

Icarus TV plus

The support service is very fast, the quality of the image very good too. I would tell you, if you have a smart box in your house make the test and you will see for yourself.
