Ahead of our trip we booked with Iceland Car Rental. From booking, to pick up, to drop off our experience was seamless. We encountered no issues whatsoever.
Communication from Iceland Car Rentals was clear and accurate. There were no hidden charges.
Instructions for pick up and drop off were easy. Not to mention its convenient location which was walkable from the terminal.
As for the vehicle itself, no problem!!
It was clean and reliable.
We highly recommend Iceland Car Rentals. We will definitely book again when we come back to beautiful Iceland.

Great experience, they act as a broker for blue car rental, but cost wise pretty good. Got all the information by email, so it made my process easy. All insurance was included no need to compare anything, just add roadside assistance extra and you're sorted. On top of this I got 1 extra free driver as an offer.

Only 4 stars, because I booked Suzuki Vitara Auto & blue car rental gave me Used Suzuki Vitara Auto by saying we have no other cars left, all booked. And the car was not in a good condition at all. I paid a big amount, even though there was cheaper option to select Used on the website.

I had very little issue getting my car once I arrived at the office at Keflavik. They were cleaning the car when I arrived but that only took a few minutes.

I noticed some damage in the car and I wanted to make sure I was not going to be held responsible for that. They already had the damage noted on the records.

This was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The team made the entire process incredibly easy and efficient. While many travelers were waiting in long queues at the traditional international car rental counters, we were able to pick up our car in less than two minutes thanks to the access code we received in advance. Retrieving the key and collecting the vehicle was completely seamless.

We did encounter a small issue when trying to pay for airport parking, but the team resolved it promptly, professionally, and with genuine kindness. Their customer service was outstanding and turned what could have been a stressful situation into a non-issue.

You know, you read all these horror stories about how people need to pay for some unexpected expenses? Well this is the opposite of that. We felt so safe with the “no excess” agreement, even covering wind grabbing doors. The pick up was easy, and leaving the car even easier. Thank you.

Iceland Car Rental offers good service. The car we received was clean, and even though we booked an older model, we received a newer one. Unfortunately, the car had an electrical issue, but we received immediate assistance, and thanks to the insurance, they didn't charge us any additional fees. I highly recommend Iceland Car Rental!

An excellent experience with this car rental company. Great communication, a simple check-in process, and convenient key pickup from the lockbox. The car was ready and waiting in the designated parking spot. We purchased the highest insurance coverage, so we didn’t have to worry about anything and could simply enjoy our trip. We drove 1,900 km in 6 days and were extremely happy with the car.

I rented a car. The car was not in perfect condition; it had a lot of damage. I also received a parking fine for a spot I had actually paid for. I was charged for the fine and received no assistance, despite providing proof of payment. Definitely poor service.

Everything was excellent. Picking up and returning the car was quick and easy, and the vehicle was in good condition.

There is just one suggestion: the sticker placed on the passenger side of the dashboard constantly reflects in the windshield. Throughout the entire trip it was distracting, made it harder to fully enjoy Iceland's spectacular scenery, and made taking photos through the windshield almost impossible.

The dashboard is probably the worst place to put this kind of sticker in a rental car intended for sightseeing. Moving it elsewhere would greatly improve the driving and travel experience.

We had a really new car and rental process was without any complications. If the pin for the key box does not arrive via mail, you can easily go to the Blue car desk next to the entry and ask for help, the staff is very friendly. We also had a flat tire we had to have repaired at a garage. Due to the insurances included in Iceland Car rental everything was handled without any problems.

Site was very easy to use to book the rental. Had a hiccup when picking up the rental, the staff at the Blue location at the airport was very helpful and got us taken care of early in the morning after a long flight.
