This company still owes me a refund from two and a half years ago for cancellation of an N Dubz event in Derby in June 2023.

Scam company. Please beware! They make you pay for your portfolio and subscription, give you a lot of promises regarding jobs and promotion which does not exist.

STAY AWAY! SCAM ALERT!🚨 Models, actors and photographers. JAY WARD (@jayward_iamicon is his instagram) is a scam artist! He is not an agent or model coach!
They will not pay you and pocket the money.

Please spare yourself the time and hatred you will feel for this agency and don’t register with them. I registered with them as a model over a year ago and they got me a job (from starnow which anyone could find for free if you have the time btw; so worth doing if you’re new to modelling and have time), but I was never paid. I sent an email to them every few weeks for about 3 months, every time it was a new excuse - first that the client hadn’t paid them so they couldn’t pay me, then that it was being processed and payment would clear in 4 weeks, then 6 weeks etc. it’s now been almost a year and the client I worked with reached out to me and I realised I was never paid by Icons for that job I did. I got back in touch with Icons last week threatening to submit a small claims case, and both contact emails I had spoken to before bounced back (maybe they grew a conscience while working at Icons and felt bad for scamming new models), but someone from Icons got back to me now saying they’re “going through a process of paying old invoices and it will be completed in 4 weeks from now”. How convenient 😂

It actually makes me so angry that people like this exist in the world, whoever runs icons is pure evil and I hope you have a miserable existence and are completely alone. Because that’s what they deserve, scamming people for a living and taking money from people who actually do the work. I spent 6 hours working on set that day and actually lost money because the train was about £30 which was also meant to be “covered in my price”. They have literally stolen my money. I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t pay their employees either, whoever runs this “business” doesn’t care about people and only looks to take advantage wherever possible.

Please please save yourself from working with these evil soulless people and warn anyone who ever mentions newly signing with Icons. They are a complete fraud and I hope my small claims case gets them sued and permanently shut down, as I am now going to waste no time to make sure they pay for the horrible things they’ve done to me and countless others.

I have both my daughters signed to this agency and am over the moon with them so far.
Both have had work, and both been paid. We have had great communication from Amy so are looking forward to more in 2024

Icons is a total scam, they look like a lovely agency when you go and sign up, then you do work for them and they won't pay you ! Block your calls and do not respond to emails or messages . Me and a few other models are also in this situation .

Do not use this agency. Total scam to get your subscription money. Never come up with jobs. Then on the rare occasion something comes you never get paid. The so called Customer Services Manager suddenly does not answer calls or respond to emails. Avoid at all costs.

I was signed to this agency, but would advise anyone seeking to do the same not to!! You pay £200 for your initial photos, but then they pressure you into spending a further £450 to make a "showreel", insisting that this would secure modelling jobs. This is a LIE!! They do put you up in a cheap hotel, and even buy you a Nando's, but rush through the filming, and scenic shots (in Derby), the end result being 68 seconds worth of footage!!! They then promise that they will promote this showreel, starting on their own website, but this DOES NOT HAPPEN!! They just send you the link, so that you can put it on your own social media platforms. Nathan, (the boss), may even give you a ride in his brand spanking new white Porsche Carrera, obviously paid for by disgruntled, potential models, who have fallen for the exact same trick. I did contact the company, complaining about the fact that they were just nothing more than a scam agency, but received no response. I know that there are decent models agencies out there, but trust me when I say, this is not one of them!!
Those who have written positive reviews, have probably been PAID to do so.

I’ve had one job now for 6 months since joining which is slightly underwhelming but not the biggest issue overall. The one job I did was a photoshoot for university accommodation and I still haven’t been paid for it and it’s been like 3 months. I call Rochelle on a daily basis and she never answers to my messages or calls. Even though I checked and she would be active on WhatsApp. Overall experience is nothing more than a 1 Star

I have been an extra through an agency. The team were there for a whole day of the job. They made sure I was taken care of, and they answered all questions which arose.
Great team!

Had a last minute extras job come up and the agency did all the could to make it as smooth as possible. They provided information quickly and the whole team were on set so any further questions were easy to get answers for. I had never done extras work before but the team were really helpful in explaining the process and how the day was going to run. Everything ran well and I was very happy with the job overall.

The team was amazing. Had a showreel made and the photoshoot. I wanted something creative and interesting, and that's where they step in and helped those ideas come to the light.
Not just on the set team was amazing but even afterwards I received excellent care with dinners, breakfasts, hotels and transport and most importantly - pieces of advice about the industry, platforms etc.
A positive and can-do attitude was right there!

I joined Icons last year but didn’t get any opportunity till now. Icons have been helpful in getting in contact and arranging a role as an extra in a big Bollywood movie. I was chosen to appear in 1 – 3 scenes in the movie alongside some of the biggest stars in Bollywood. Icons were very keen to get you on set and help in every way possible with loads of advice. I would love to work with them again once another opportunity arises.
