NEVERMORE

I bought a return ticket Brussels-Amsterdam from Zuid.
The guy who sold me ticket didn't notice that the bus arrives at the train station but the return leaves from Schiphol, so first he told me I have to wait at the same spot I arrive at. I noticed and asked him, he apologised and said it's the system fault but I can just take 5 euro train from Central to Schiphol.
I agreed, did that and the bus never appeared. I waited 40 minutes, called numerous times to both emergency numbers written on the ticket - to no avail, and eventually had to pay a train ticket in order to get back to Brussels.
The company eventually said it's my fault I didn't leave a phone number and email address (even though their employee never asked me to), otherwise they would have contacted me regarding delays.
Also, they said it was my fault I didn't wait for the bus - after the 40 min.

I think twice is enough... the worst experiences yet

I have only used this company twice from Barcelona to Paris and from Paris to Amsterdam. Barcelona to Paris was late and quite unorganized but just okay. But the Paris to Bercy was just horrendous. Power sockets did not work up where I was seated ( I saw the 3 front seats could use the power sockets which I assumed that the bus was lack of maintenance - also happened on my trip to Paris). The seat belt was hard to reach and i think slightly disfunction. Rude and racist driver maybe because I am Asian, he called me Sheng or Cheng Etat, although i have said my name quite few times. He forced me to put my ransel in the luggage storage, despite i need a things (meds etc) from it. As I went in the bus, I found 2 guys brought 2 bigger hand carrier than mine inside. This is just crazy! WIFI troubled. The Air Conditioner had just turned on in the end of journey although the bus has already hot. Furthermore, not only the bus departed so LATE, but also the driver’s speaking was hard to comprehend.

Terrible experience with Ouibus between …

Terrible experience with Ouibus between London and Lille, they did not included the time of the ferry crossing on their schedule, so our bus arrived with two hours delay. Another bus from ouibus that left half an hour after us and was going towards Lille as well, arrived before us because they took the shuttle. BUT WE PAID EXACTLY THE SAME PRICE and ouibus don't even let us know that we are going to arrive later because we take a ferry, and they know way in advance! I tried to speak to the customer service, it was the worst ever. I will never ever use this company

Attempted to book via Safari on an …

Attempted to book via Safari on an Apple Ipad. Multiple problems with this platform resulting in an erroneous booking. Was unable to find a telephone number. I deduced that the best option would be to apply for the refund which resulted in a voucher. Retried the booking with the voucher however receieved 'internal error'. Was forced to rebook a 3rd time with a debit card. Ouibus info desk at airport could not help but did give the telephone number with a high cost per minute rate. Telephone call resulted in 20 min call with refusal to refund voucher. I wrote to Ouibus to explain and ask for a refund of the voucher. The customer service replied ignorantly in that since the voucher seemed valid, they would not refund. I tried to explain one more time but they blocked my email after the first contact. I am now in a country where I cannot use Ouibus and thus have wasted money on this voucher. This type of service is common in France and not exclusive to Ouibus; however still very unacceptable and perhaps criminal.

I used Ouibus from Paris to London

I used Ouibus from London to Paris on the 14 September 2017 and that journey and service was fine. But the return journey Paris back to London on the 17 September went from bad to worst. I took the bus from Paris at 2 pm and it stopped at Lille at around 4:30 pm. The driver swapped and the new driver as usual had to do his normal check before proceeding. He noticed that the engine coolant was low and that it would be a risk to drive all the way to London. (Obviously, the first driver had not done his job properly). So he rang the company who promised to send someone to top-up the coolant. We waited from 4:30 pm until 7:45 pm for the breakdown service to arrive. By the time we left Lille we were already going to miss our 8:30 pm shuttle. So the driver has been calling to company to move us to the next shuttle. Apparently, all the shuttle were full and could not accommodate us. The solution from the company was to fit us in the 7:50 am shuttle the following day. We had about 52 passengers in the bus. Many of us had to make other connections in London. We also had children and most of us had to go to work the following day like myself. After the driver announced to us that we would have to wait until tomorrow morning for the shuttle, there was a big row among the passengers and swearing towards the driver. The driver then contacted the company again and expressed the restlessness of the passengers. They called us again shortly to tell us that they managed to put us in the ferry leaving at 11:35 pm. Finally, we made back to London at about 2:30 am. And at this time there is no train and metro running. Two Cambridge students had to sleep outside and I don't know how the other people managed.

There are a lot of things that went wrong:
- the first driver was selfish and did not do his job properly
- the breakdown service came after 3 hours which is not acceptable
- they could have given us another bus instead of making us wait
-it seems that they really didn't think about the welfare and concern of the passengers and wanted us to wait until the next day to catch the shuttle

I will never book with this company again and will not recommend it to anyone.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I've used this service once to travel to Paris. Mistakenly I over-paid for an additional ticket. (Was supposed to order 2 tickets for me and a friend, ended up ordering 3). I noticed and quickly contacted customer service to inform them, expecting a quick response and a refund like any other business with decent customer service.

I submitted the query form online with proof of the overpayment, surprisingly OUIBUS declined to refund and stopped replying to my additional emails.

DO NOT USE, terrible customer service!

terrible service

terrible service, the bus driver did not let me on the bus I was supposed to take because he said he wasn't going to my destination. But it was the right bus and I waited for 1h (after my departure time) for my bus until I booked another bus. Now they do not want to reimburse me because the other 45 people got on the bus!

My girlfriend waited over an hour for …

My girlfriend waited over an hour for the bus, along with several other people who bought a ticket. No message of information about the delay was recieved, and no callservice is available on their website. In the end she and the others were told that the bus was cancelled, by another Ouibus driver. Even though, Ouibus still wouldn't pay for the alternative transportation my girlfriend had to take, and even harder to believe but they didn't even give her a refundation of the bus ticket. One of the worst customer services I have ever encountered. Do yourself a favor and pick another transportation.

The SCNF should not be partners with this outfit.

I do not fault a bus service for not arriving because accidents happen. My bus in Nantes France to Bordeaux never arrived. Their website showed Orange triangle type warnings next to the buses just before and after mine, but mine had NO status posted whatsoever. They charge customers 3 EUR to take a phone call. I did not receive a reply after submitting the form on their web site. I bought my ticket through the SCNF network and they refuse to have anything to do with travel problems. This is why I am giving Ouibus a poor rating. Beware.

unbearable

First of all, the bus was over an hour late, which is quite annoying when you are told to be at the bus station at least 15 minutes before departure so that the bus will be able to leave on time. We were also assigned seats even though it said "free seating" on the ticket and there were other free seats on the bus. The air was not good in the bus which made me quite naucious at times. The toilet was unbearable, with pee/water running on the floor, no water to wash your hands and no soap, paper or hand sanitizer. Also, the driver was annoyed by everybody and everything. Just asking to get your luggage the respons from the driver was sighs and moans. Not a good trip, not worth the money I saved compared to taking the train and I would never do it again.

Poor customer service! Ordered two bus tickets and cancelled an hour later. A refund was provided in the form of a voucher for a future trip. Problem is that I live in the US and so it is useless for me!

Bad service, never again

Definitely not at the same level of the competition. Travel times are long due to multiple and infinite breaks. The driver was rude when greeting the customers and during the breaks, I'm not asking for much, but a smile or a 'hello' should be the rule when offering a service. When stopping you're just asked to leave the bus without communication on how long the break will be. The bus, although new, offer less leg space than buses from other companies even for long trips. Notice that you will not be allowed to eat even a sandwich although it is not specified anywhere. At least we didn't crash as other customers reported.
I'm not gonna use Ouibus in the future.

NEVER USING AGAIN - TERRIBLE SERVICE!

Journey from Paris to Calais was slow, be time we got to border control the bus driver had forgot his documents, so waited an hour for the driver to get himself sorted. After, in the tunnel the driver became medically incapable of driving the bus. This has lead to an over 7 hour wait in a service station while we waited for a new driver. The service on board was terrible and we missed our trains in London. Couldn't leave the terminal, wouldnt use again. Driver was rude towards other passengers.

Bias and Racist driver. Worst support team.

Had a driver decline our carry on bags for no reason. We thought that maybe the bus was full so he wanted the bags underneath, which was not the case. When we tried boarding the bus with our carry on bags (small backpack) he quickly locked the door and said no bag. We confronted him, showed our tickets that says carry on bags are allowed, he started telling and going off his but then yelling, "my bus, my bus". He watched as we pulled all our valuables out and stood there with a smirk.

We have used OUIBUS before and had no problems. We think that the driver was racist and bias against my girlfriend and I as he was French, so we're all the other passengers on board the bus who were allowed on with there bags while we were the only foreigners and from New Zealand.

Very upset at the whole situation, and at the OUIBUS support team who tried to convince us it was our fault and backed the driver and had no solution and were not looking into the situation at all.

Bad service. Bad driver. Be careful as a traveler and expect that OUIBUS will not deal with any problems and have a attitude of not caring.

Ouibus crashed into the shuttle train

I booked through trainmen.eu a obis from Victoria Coach Station to Lille, followed by a TGV from Lille to Paris. The bus left a little late, just after 07:30 and arrived at the Channel Tunnel check-in at 09:30. We were told to re-board the bus at 10:05. We then waited until 11:50 sitting on the bus before we boarded the shuttle. The coach driver then crashed the bus into the shuttle trying to drive off in Calais and we sat for another 40 minutes while damage was assessed, inspectors from the train company came, photos were taken, forms completed but not one word to us passengers. Then, very slowly the bus crawled to Lille arriving 10 minutes after the train had already left. No word of explanation as to what we should do. I endeavoured to explain at the SNCF ticket office at Lille, they said 'not my problem' and told me that I had to buy a new ticket for €62 and wait two hours. Trainmen.eu say it's not their problem as 'they have already passed the money on to Ourbus and SNCF' and Ouibus simply ignores my two complaint email responses. What a totally rubbish, dishonest pathetic company
