At first I was skeptical of using a middle-man to sell my ring, but after selling my ring on I Do Now I Don't, I am SOLD! They made the process so easy and their communication (email, phone, etc...) of each step made the whole process very transparent. My ring was on their site for maybe four months. I am so thankful there was a place like I Do Now I Don't to help me sell my old ring so that I can completely move on from my past!
Very happy with my selling experience
Top notch Owner and Customer Service!
We ordered a ring and then the seller tried to get me to purchase it off the site to avoid fees and such. However, when I contacted the owner he went out of his way to fix it! Not only did he fix it, but he went and had my dream ring made!! The ring is far beyond the original I picked and the company took a hit to make this right for me. I am beyond thankful and will forever love my ring. It exceeded all expectations and I'm in love with it. Thank you, Josh! My profile picture is my RING! 1.13 xxx perfection.
Great
My items sold on six months. Sending them in was easy and they followed their timeline.
Good customer service.
Good service
It took a while for the ring to sell, by once it did, I received payment within 2 months.
Great website and customer service, every other department awful…
I was excited to have found an engagement ring that was absolutely stunning and perfect for me that had just been listed after having to return my original engagement ring and band to the store I bought them from. I communicated with the seller and he was very friendly and answered all of my questions, I paid for my ring which included a resizing fee of $150. That’s fairly expensive for resizing but since this ring has sapphires and diamonds, filagree and miligrain I wanted it done right. I also wanted to be able to wear it right away after waiting so long. Big mistake trusting them. The seller sent it quickly. I waited about 2 more weeks (3 weeks total from purchase date)and my ring finally came. It was so beautiful. I noticed however the appraisal was not listing the designer and appraisal was very low (would barely even cover the setting without a center stone) for this ring style and designer. It’s also poorly detailed in comparison to the original appraisal. I left a note and they immediately called me and got that corrected once I sent in some photos of the setting showing the retail price. Their “expert gemologist” had not noticed it was a Designer ring somehow (even though Kirk Kara is printed in the band and part of their job was to authenticate the listing which stated it was Kara dahlia collection) They also didn’t send me all of the original paperwork the seller and I had agreed to so they had to send it with the new appraisal. After that conversation I took my ring to my jeweler and had the diamond checked ext. upon examination we discovered some damage to the ring. They had the ring resized by a 3rd party and they ruined the shank of my ring. It was to be taken up 2 sizes yet the (14k) white gold is bent and scratched in several places. It’s much thinner where they worked in it. You can clearly see the lines from where they added a piece and soldered it together on both sides and all the way through the band inside and out. There are rough places. There is a bent line running down the opposite direction about half an inch. This should not happen with 14k at all. There should be no visible signs it was worked on. The structural integrity the shank is now compromised and if not fixed will likely break at some point die to weakness at the joint. Now my jeweler has to fix it and I hope it doesn’t have to be reshanked because I can’t afford it after paying them thousands of dollars and my ring was not insured under my plan while being resized because I didn’t have possession of it or an up to date appraisal to purchase my Jeweler’s Mutual policy. It was covered under the sellers policy at the time. When I reached out they told me they have a vendor who all they do is resize jewelry and works with Tiffany and Cartier and they haven’t had any complaints in 16 years so they aren’t sure how this happened but would refund me the sizing fee of $150. I seriously doubt that to be the case after looking at how poorly my ring was handled. They did immediately refund the sizing fee but it will likely cost far more to repair. I should have never let them do any work on my ring. This was a heartbreaking lesson learned. The customer service guy was nice and professional as well as very fast to answer and tried to resolve my issues the best he could but their gemologist and gold smith or jeweler who resizes rings are completely inept at their jobs. If you buy from this site NEVER let them resize your jewelry. Take it to a trusted jeweler who can resize and to check everything after your purchase and have an appraisal done by a competent gemologist. They are great aside from this. If I had not had them resize my ring the issue with the appraisal was easy enough to fix and my experience would have been great and I’d have given 5 stars. Every other process was easy and smooth. I will be reaching back out to them after my jeweler gives me an estimate on the repair for the damage tomorrow and I hope I can have it fixed. Eta: I have to bring the ring in next week and leave it a couple days to do the estimate and then another few days for the repairs. I should be able to be enjoying my engagement ring. Not dealing with fixing the damage they caused. I do now I don’t should have given me the name of the 3rd party and I’d have written the review about them but as this is part of their services I can only leave a review for them. I do recommend I Do Now I Don’t but I do NOT recommend you have them size your ring as I said above.

Initially I was skeptical, but I was surprised that I was able to sell relatively quickly and reliably. Payment took 1 month to receive, but that is what I expected.

Your company's communication is terrible. The only reason I knew that my item had passed inspection, or that I was receiving payment was by me calling and emailing. Never was I notified by your company. That's crazy.

I had to hire a lawyer to get paid MONTHS after my ring sold. This company is a scam.
I love this company
I love this company. It is very good to find the good quality jewelries with cheap price. And also it is good for the seller who wants to exchange his unwanted jewelries with money.
But the whole process may takes some time. You need to be patient. Cuz they need to exam the jewelry before they send it to you.
I'm 100% happy with IDNID
I'm 100% happy with IDNID! They have done everything they promised to do: they promptly sold my piece of jewelry and promptly paid me for that sale. I have not experienced ANY problems in dealing with them whatsoever. As I have a high level of trust in them, I have listed two additional pieces with them for sale. They have treated me well, treated me fairly. I will continue to do business with them, without hesitation.
Perfect transaction from start to finish!
From the purchase and interaction with the Seller all the way thru the process of certifying/polishing and expedited processing/shipping, everything was perfect! The Seller and IDNID were always keeping me current with what was going on!! A seamless process and a definite recommendation!!

They exceeded my expectations as a service. I’ve been a user on both sides, buying and selling jewelry. Both transactions were seamless; and I look forward to doing business with them again.

I am an environmentalist and this is the only platform where I buy and sell my fine jewelry. I am able to swap out and upgrade pieces seamlessly while saving money and avoiding a negative impact on the planet.
Buyers beware
Buyers beware. We bought my engagement ring for 29k with an AIG report from their “experts” with it appraised at 52k. Upon a second appraisal for insurance the ring is at most worth 12k. The ring and package with report were fully deceiving as this was a special investment and it’s disgusting to be lied to.....
