Moved my insurances to IF last year. After purchasing an electric vehicle they told me that they only insure gas or diesel cars and refused to insure my new car. Here you go global warming and support of EVs in Denmark.

I don't think the provided information is true. I'm sure that this is written somewhere in your internal policies - but it is just a significant misinformation made up from air. There are authorized sales and authorized service providers of Jaguar in Denmark, for decades.
How come other insurance companies in Denmark can find service providers for fixing the car? There are hundreds of these cars running in Denmark on the roads.

I have now tried to investigate the reasons to why we were not able to insure this exact car. The main reason is, that we dont have a partner, that can provide you with original spare parts (in cause of damage) and if something happens with the mechanical parts, not many shops will be able to fix this.
I hope this makes sense to you, and of cause i am sorry, that we are not able to insure this particular car.

Maybe there are many places that can repair the car, but not many of them are our partners. I dont know how other companies do, and if they use every shop in Danmark, but unfortunately, that is not our policies.
I understand your frustration, and i would wish that we could insure the car. You are a great customer at If, so i hope you understand, that it is not that we dont want you as a customer. We just dont have a partner, that will be able to help us, if needed.
