Totally unprofessional and Rude
We moved in to a bungalow that needed quite a bit of work. The gas needed to be connected properly and we were told to contact a certified gas installer. We are having a new kitchen fitted so we contacted igm.ie to do the gas installation . Two men called to the house. One of them had his number on the van.
I showed them kitchen area which we were planning on fitting the new kitchen. I expected them to plan a route for the pipe as the back area doesn't really suit.
The route for the pipe didn't bother them. He kept saying where's the hob. I came here to fit a hob. He was very gruff and unmannerly and said to his associate come on out of here this is a waste of time. Such bad manners and rudeness I have never experienced before. I have since got another certified gas installer . He called and looked at the job. He said it is necessary to fit the piping before the kitchen is installed as space was small.
And a base would have to be set up away from the house as the drains windows and doors were too close for any gas supply to be placed.
I got his name from a registered installer site.
I will not allow Irish Gas Management into my house again.
