Fix Shipping

IKEA home delivery option is a difficult experience, their products are so good for the price but 5 stars is impossible if they don't fix their shipping.

Everything else is good.

Worst delivery ever.

Worst delivery ever.
If there was zero star I would give them
They were supposed to deliver the package at noon, but in the last bill they delivered it after 5:00 PM.
They wasted my whole day sitting and waiting for them in the cold.
IKEA is no more what it used to be.
It looks like a neighborhood store with horrible delivery.
I thought I could rely on IKEA, but they can't be relied on anymore.
This was definitely my last order from this store.
Unfortunately, I will have to forget about IKEA it was a normal place to shop.
I have to shop the rest of the furniture for my new home but from other store.
Unfortunately, it's all over.

Saturday 11 30 am, no sales people

I went in Saturday at 11 30 am. A busy time. I wanted 2 easy chairs for my newly painted sitting room. Could not find anyone. Walked the entire circle twice. One woman at the kitchen area desk and one cashier. I walked around calling hello, hello. There were 3 cleaning ladies and 1 security guard who just looked offended. It is not unusual to expect some kind of sales person presence...if they want to sell things... The outside doors did not open, you could only enter through the mall. After waiting 15 minutes I went to Jysk, beside Praktiker and spent 600 lev. Fast, friendly, more easy chair options. Got 2in 10 minutes. IKEA VT shape up, you are an embarrassment to the brand.

Ordered products online

Ordered products online.
Over due for delivery. No update on the order. I have raised an inquiry in regards to the order I made. Nobody even replied back. I am wondering are they for real working this way. The phone line provided never gets picked up. I take this as a scam as I don’t see how I will get my money back. In deep doubts they will deliver my purchase.

Everything came damaged

We ordered a kitchen and almost every item has defects! Broken corners, scratches etc. Don't buy furniture from ikea. They've literally damaged our items and then packaged them. We called the support, as soon as we described the issue, they've put us on hold for 5 minutes and then ended the call.

Blocked online for complaining.

I complained about their website being down from Mid December to early january. It was not helped by the fact that we could not order instore either.
After complaining, i can no longer access their website.
I spoke to a member of staff instore and was told, if you complain you get blocked and access to their website is denied.

Very poor compared to other European IKEAs

Don’t be tempted to compare IKEA Bulgaria with the IKEAs in the rest of Europe. IKEA Bulgaria customer service is dreadful. My delivery has failed to turn up twice. The assembly team arrived on a different day as per agreed but had to leave anyway as the furniture wasn’t there. The customer service email will simply feed you a line to get you off their backs. I’ve recently refurbished my entire apartment and found all other furniture companies such as Videnov, Momax and Aiko provide an amazing service. Unfortunately IKEA is the one to avoid.

This IKEA in Sofia is not up to the stand of IKEA

This IKEA in Sofia dont have anything with the rest of IKEA to do!
Don’t buy furniture from them. Because they will never deliver them, and if you complain no body cares about you! Buy from somewhere else your furnitures to save yourself some nerv’s. I am Still waiting to get my delivery! And if you complain and want back your money they will not pay you back all your money!
I am from Sweden and i will report this to the headquarter in Sweden! Because IKEA stands for Service and Quality!
I am very unhappy and I regret that I trust IKEA in Sofia!

Good Products, dreadful service & delivery

I have used Ikea in the UK several times, and have always been happy with both their products and their service. So I decided to go to The Ikea in Plovdiv when I needed a new kitchen in Bulgaria. The store is much smaller than the UK ones, but the staff were helpful, particular Tsvetana who helped us to design a fairly tricky, compact kitchen dining area.
We paid at the time of purchase (approx 14,000 Lev), and this included a delivery charge of 250 Lev for delivery to our address.
Then a few days later the delivery driver called to say that he was coming and we needed to pay him in cash for the delivery. We pointed out that we had already paid 250 Lev for delivery, and he replied that this was for delivery from Sofia to our street, but they would leave the entire kitchen in the street if we didn't pay the extra cash. I didn't pay 250 Lev to have it delivered near my address! We contacted the store to complain and were shocked when they sided with the delivery driver even though they had taken the 250 Lev to have it delivered to our house. This is quite obviously a con, and is easy beer money for the delivery driver, but I never thought a representative of such a highly regarded company would go along with this shoddy and dishonest practice. I tried to complain on the Ikea.Bg website, but after it rejecting 5 times any attempt at complaint, I gave up.
I do wonder if someone further up in Ikea ever views these reviews, as this behaviour is ruining their once, very good reputation.

No order & Rude CC agents

I am sorry I didn't read trust pilot reviews before ordering. I wait for delivery for 2 months already (online order), I advice you all to make complaints at the Commission for Protection of Consumer Rights. Calling and writing multiple times, customer agents are extremely RUDE and unpolite, lying and trying to close the phone without even hearing you. I am so, so glad I didn't pay my order. I have also asked and wanted to speak to their country manager, but no manager apparently exists or he/she is hidden somewhere. Go to Bucharest Ikea instead - experience is like in the Western countries, not like this one in BG.

No customer service / order lost.

I can only repeat what is already said here: online order with delivery, and no news for 2 months.
Multiple calls to their service desk to hear someone will call me by the end of the week. And obviously no call.
No possibility to speak to a manager. Rude service.
Emails are not working either.
Would not trust them with my orders again.

Very bad experience with delivery

Very bad experience. Personnel rude, and reluctant to help. The delivery service extremely bad. We were waiting all Sunday as scheduled, and the item never arrived. After visiting and complaining to the store the next day, we were informed that it will arrive some time later that day. Indeed it was delivered late evening. However, although the agreement and the payment was for delivery at 4th floor it was left in the building entrance despite our complaints. Train your personnel at Bulgaria, snd change your delivery contractor.

Extremely poor customer service

Extremely poor customer service. Since September 29th I have called more than 4 time requesting estimated delivery day.Each time I received the standard answer" someone will call you by the end of the day"- if you are an Ikea employee you will live for ever because fro their days must be 96 hrs and counting.
As a rule the female representatives compensate the lack of customer service with major ill mannered attitude.
Stay away.i gave them one star, because 0 stars iOS not an option

Pathetic service and Extremely Poor customer service

The rating should be MINUS not even a star for the Pathetic service and Extremely Poor customer service

Do NOT order from Ikea Bulgaria online store. I have used Ikea in the UK, where the service is excellent, BUT NOT IN BULGARIA
I have placed an order online with Ikea Bulgaria and they weren't able to provide any delivery information nor able to deliver for 21 days (standard delivery time is 3 to 7 days).
There is
- no customer service to talk to. There is a number to call, but the answer to any questions is "I will pass the message, without even taking customers order details"
- no email responses instead of a robot response, which is out of context.
- no option to talk to the customer service online delivery department as they can not be called and they should call us, but they haven't called for 21 days
- no option to talk to a manager
-They don't answer any complaint emails.
- not able to cancel the order as well.
- the store manager in VARNA cant of course do anything as you need to call the online store. He offered to give me a voucher instead of the online order - NO THANK YOU. They have limited stocks in the stores and practically you can't use your money.

Also the online shop doesn't have accurate stock information as well. AVOID IKEA in Bulgaria
