I purchased a beautiful Ilse Jacobsen raincoat from TKmaxx less than a year ago and the coating has started to wrinkle up and loose its shape. It has become unwearable. Very disappointed with the quality of the material as I really liked the look and feel of it.

First if all, I love the brand and have been its loyal customer. It can a bit expensive, in my view, at times. However, the quality and design are well worth it. Also, I have received a very professional and caring seevice from the company's customer service representatives, Iben is the Star here. Therefore, I would highly recommend the brand.

I purchased these shoes in Kelowna at the beginning of the year and stashed them until spring. The first time I wore them ,by the time I reached my destination (mostly sitting) they had stretched beyond belief.As I live in another province attempting to return to the original store was not possible. I have inserted a felt liner and my custom orthotics from years ago and I am stepping out of them. A very expensive ,disappointing mistake. An email to the Company remains unanswered. Avoid..unless you are willing to by 1 size smaller and suffer until they actually fit you.
excellent online chat support and service- cannot fault the time and efficiency, my request and questions dealt with and I am impressed with the service and the assistant handling my query.

I ordered from what I believed was the company's website in March 2023, but order not fulfilled. Through correspondence from real company, I learned they don't ship weborders to Canada. Beware of companies posing as Ilse Jacobsen and offering to ship to Canada - they are fraudulent

I've purchased two pairs of the tulip shoes from two different retailers. The last pair purchased is why I am writing this review. Though comfortable, the shoe stretched. I am no longer able to wear the shoe, because I am walking out of them.
The brand is now stating the salesperson should have told me to purchase a different size. Note again, I have two pairs of these shoes and the first pair purchased is perfectly fine and both are the same size.
Beware that they can stretch. Due to the brands response, I will not be purchasing or recommending this shoe to friends and family as I have.
Order a handbag which is faulty, had one email back requesting photos, which I sent by return. I am now waiting a reply! I have no way to return this as I have to contact them for a return.
Very poor customer service so far. Maybe they can put this right?
I ordered and paid in excess of £330.00 for a jumper for my husband. Money left our bank on the same day and despite sending 15 emails the company has not acknowledged my order or given any information about what is happening with the order after 3 weeks. Very suspicious and unsatisfactory! Since my original review I have received an acknowledgment of order but have now sent 27 emails asking for an update as to when I can expect delivery. This company does not have the decency to EVER reply to any emails you send to them - exceptionally poor service for expensive items !
I ordered a gorgeous dog bed seat for my new car. I was thrilled to find it on sale as was originally very expensive. I was not disappointed. Well made, looks fab and will keep my dog safely secured. Customer service were very responsive and helpful as there was a two week delay in receiving but fully explained the reason and arrived promptly at the new date set. Thank you

I want to return the item purchased on 8 Oct. (The picture on the website misled me.) I have requested a return label but have had no response other than automated emails.
Coat received but too small. Tried to contact customer services - 5 emails sent so far - to ask how to return as need pro forma and return label. No reply at all. Not a word. Very expensive item and no way of returning. Dreadful experience.
Having returning my coat in Feb 2022 I am still waiting for a refund of the price paid as well as the customs charge! Despite many emails and calls to Christine at Customer Service at Ilse Jacobsen in Denmark I am no further in getting my refunds. I was told to be patient a few months ago but I’m now worried that I’ll never see the money as the company is in financial difficulty.
These shoes lasted 13 months and then the stitching started to fray and come undone. I complained to the company I purchased them from, Simply Feet, not interested. I then complained to the manufacturer - no response. They were expensive and I wore them moderately as house shoes, so very unhappy.

Contacted company to ask for advice regarding replacement of broken zip on raincoat I bought as a birthday gift for my daughter 2yrs ago!! I sent an email including photos & reference to dtls of original order to their customer service.
Not only did the company respond promptly to my enquiry but I was blown away to hear that they had decided to issue me with a personal code
allowing me to choose a replacement coat to the value of the original from their current website.
I had asked for nothing but to be pointed in right direction for zip repair/replacement. They bent over backwards to be helpful & I have just ordered a brand new raincoat which is on it’s way to me!!

I bought a 200E raincoat two years ago. It is absolutely great design. unfortunately the raincoat isnt always waterproof.
However, lately i found that the raincoat is discolouring, mine is army green, and it is turning to yellow/orange from the sunlight. I wanted to go back to the store with the complaint. but the store doesn't exist anymore. I contacted Ilse Jacobsen "customer service". But they refused to look at it or take any responsibility. There's no way I can reach out to the shop i originally bought it in, as it went bankrupt. "Customer service" says they are sorry... That is lousy service, especially from an expensive brand!
Well I placed an order over a week ago and despite calling now a few times and speaking to “customer service” I’m still not any nearer to receiving my order much less receiving notification of despatch. It’s now reliably being blamed on COVID as a reason for the delays, an absolute shambles. The people I have so far spoken to have asked me to send an email and they will pass to the right department, which I’ve done and still a big fat zero. Customer Service should a no.1 priority, perhaps Ilse Jacobsen can inform me when I’m to receive the order????
Horrendous experience with this company. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. I bought a raincoat online in October 2021 but it didn’t fit. I followed the instructions and returned it at my own expense. This is when the nightmare began.
They operate a PO Box system for returns. There were two attempted deliveries in November where written notifications were sent to the company by NordPost. These were ignored by Isle Jacobsen so the coat was returned to sender. It then got lost and was several months and after much stress that it was finally returned to me. While the loss was not their fault the whole nightmare was as a result of their incompetent returns department.
The customer service team agreed to send me a prepaid courier label to return it again. After a week it hadn’t arrived so I had to contact them again at which point they attached the label to the email.
I received my refund on 11th February 2022 for a coat I purchased and returned in October 2021. I received many nicely worded emails with “apologies for the inconvenience” but absolutely no acceptance that the failure was their’s in the first place. If you must purchase from this company, which I advise against, make sure you are satisfied that you will not need to return your purchase for a refund.

I purchased my raincoat 2 years ago at the Oregon Coast. Always loved the tailored fit and design. I decided to take it to Iceland in January. I was so impressed with the comfort, breathabilty, warmth and waterproofing. So many coats are water resistant, but I stayed completely dry! I was the envy of my fellow travel mates. Next time, I would order a size larger to better fit over bulky sweaters and under layers, but no complaints here!

I have just tried to purchase items from the webstore and have a problem...They have all my details including card number etc but I do not think the order has been processed as at authentication I spent 15 mins waiting and then I shut down. I know this is not a problem with my bank. You cannot email ILSE JACOBSEN as the email given on the page just takes you back to the page... Not impressed!
