I strongly advise caution before signing up with Imperial Telecom. I switched to a new provider in December 2025, yet Imperial continued to bill me £54.98 a month for a service I was no longer using.
When I disputed these charges, they refused to acknowledge the "Gaining Provider Led" switching rules and instead hit me with £60 in "Indemnity Claim Penalties" for simply exercising my rights under the Direct Debit Guarantee. They are now attempting to charge me over £160 for a line that has had zero usage for months. Their customer service is unwilling to reach a fair resolution, forcing me to escalate the matter to the Communications Ombudsman. If you are looking for a transparent provider, look elsewhere.
