I strongly advise caution before…

I strongly advise caution before signing up with Imperial Telecom. I switched to a new provider in December 2025, yet Imperial continued to bill me £54.98 a month for a service I was no longer using.
When I disputed these charges, they refused to acknowledge the "Gaining Provider Led" switching rules and instead hit me with £60 in "Indemnity Claim Penalties" for simply exercising my rights under the Direct Debit Guarantee. They are now attempting to charge me over £160 for a line that has had zero usage for months. Their customer service is unwilling to reach a fair resolution, forcing me to escalate the matter to the Communications Ombudsman. If you are looking for a transparent provider, look elsewhere.

SCAM COMPANY

SCAM COMPANY
DO NOT by any means sign up to them ,they will fraudulently take payments and you may notice other unauthorised payments start leaving your account, even after you've told them you no longer want their service, they will call and harass you with threatening behaviour.
This is a genuine warning.

Imperial Teiecom Ltd…run!

Received customer details from another telecom co and supplied router and landline phone. Couldn’t receive incoming calls for weeks. Reported it to them on many occasions and told to leave it a few days. Went on for three weeks. Received a bill for a router and phone I didn’t want or request. Told them I wanted to close the account as it still wasn’t working correctly and I wasn’t happy to pay a bill for services I hadn’t received. Was told I’d have to pay “around £900” to close the account. They still wouldn’t close the account. Have now received a second bill and told if I want to close the account I will have to go to court and pay £800. Three weeks ago I wrote a formal letter of complaint to them which they deny receiving. I will wait the final 5 weeks before getting in contact with Ofcom again for further advice.
