Misleading cancellation policy
Very disappointing experience with Impermo.
Be very careful, do not let any sales representative prepare a quote for you in store! They will claim the order has been started in store and they won't let you cancel your order under the 14 days withdrawal law.
We visited a store to get information on a floor and the salesperson pressured us to add a quote on my online profile, but we did not place or finalise any order there. The day after, we finally placed the order and paid online from home (on a Sunday).
Due to changes, the next morning we called customer service to cancel the order (order still unconfirmed on my profile). The cancellation was clearly confirmed during the call by the customer service. However, a few minutes later, we received an email stating that the order had been confirmed anyway.
Despite having accepted the cancellation, Impermo later refused to cancel the order without charging a 30% fee. They even claimed the order was placed in-store, which is simply not true and they were unable to provide any proof.
After starting to complaint, they simply removed the order from our account and issued an invoice for the cancellation fee, while still withholding the refund.
This feels like a very unfair and misleading process, where internal errors are pushed onto the customer. We are now going through test achat lawyers.
I would strongly advise others to be cautious when ordering and avoid starting any order in store — especially if there is any chance you may need to cancel.

We are sorry to read that your experience did not meet your expectations.
When a quotation is prepared in one of our showrooms following a personal visit and advice, the order is legally considered to originate from the showroom, even if it is later confirmed online. In such cases, the 14-day withdrawal right for distance sales does not apply. This is also stated in our general terms and conditions.
That said, we understand that the situation has caused frustration, particularly regarding the communication about the cancellation. This was certainly not our intention.
We can confirm that the remaining balance is now scheduled for refund. The cancellation fee has been applied in line with our conditions.

Check the rules before you buy sample tiles from Impermo!
I ordered one sample tile (20cm x 20cm) for which I paid €10. I was told that this money would be refunded when I placed my order.
However, when I later placed the order, which came to about €85 (2m2 for a backsplash), it transpired that I had not spent enough to benefit from the €10 refund. Apparently, you must spend €100 or more to have this money refunded.
This was not made clear to me when I bought the sample and that one small sample tile cost €10!
Update:
Thank you for advising me to get in contact with the customer services department of Impermo, which I did about a month ago now, and I still have received no reply and no refund.

Bij Impermo worden tegels, plinten en andere artikelen steeds besteld en geleverd op basis van de informatie die op dat moment doorgegeven wordt. Zoals vermeld in onze voorwaarden kunnen tegels en keramische plinten niet worden geretourneerd, ook niet wanneer er een overschot blijkt te zijn.

This can take longer when the supplier temporarily has no stock available. As these items are specifically ordered for you, unfortunately, they cannot be cancelled.

Great quality and hassle free return
We had a really good experience with Impermo. We initially bought a membrane to lay tiles over existing tiles, but ended up not needing it. When we went back to return it, the staff was super friendly and helpful.
The process was very smooth, we had the membrane in the car, just dropped it off at their warehouse, and a few days later the refund was already in our account.
On top of that, their customer service and product range are excellent. It’s clear they really care about their customers. Would definitely recommend Impermo for anyone renovating or building, great quality, great people!

The sales man was 110%
The sales man was 110%. He explain me calm all the option i have, he create me an account and I will work only with them from now. I was working with a company for parquet, with other for Tiles and with an other for the decorative wood. Now I have all option in one place! I recommend them for normal people but for the construction company its a must!!!!
