This means the selected budget is the average amount intended to be spent per day over time. You only pay when someone clicks your job ad to view the full job description, not for impressions. The actual spend can fluctuate day to day depending on traffic and competition, but our system aims to keep your average daily spend close to the amount you set for the job while it's active on Indeed. The job can be paused, or the budget adjusted at any time to control future spend. We are happy to hear that you received assistance. Indeed is not involved in the hiring decisions for the jobs listed on our site. Employers manage their own recruitment processes, including who they contact and when. That said, job seekers should still expect clear communication, and we understand how disheartening it is not to receive updates after putting in so much effort with applications and forms.

Regarding roles being re‑advertised or looking very similar: in some cases, employers repost a genuine opening if they did not find the right match the first time, or if they are hiring for the same role on a rolling basis. However, all job postings on Indeed must represent real opportunities and follow our posting guidelines. If a job appears misleading, or if it seems an employer may not actually be hiring, it can be reported directly on the job page for our team to review.

We also offer resources to help improve the chances of hearing back, such as tips on tailoring a CV and using filters to target roles that closely match a job seeker’s skills and experience.

If a job is still visible on Indeed, it means the employer has actively posted it and should be hiring for that position. If you ever come across jobs on Indeed that you have concerns about, you can click "report." Please know that your feedback is important to us, and we will certainly pass it along!

Hi Ian, thank you for sharing your experience, we are very sorry it has not been to your satisfcation.

To clarify, when you post a job on Indeed, as long as you only post one version of a job posting you should not end up with multiple postings for one position, you would need to actively create a new posting for the same position to end up with more than one posting like this.

Regarding the budgeting on a job posting, when you choose a daily budget for example, this is the average amount your job posting may accrue per day, some days it may be less and other days it may be more. But over the period the job posting is open, it should average out to the chose daily budget amount.
