I was put onto in&motion by a friend in the racing seen, who has been using there products and recommends them.
Anyway I had a small problem with the pins in my sensor and was more than happy to sort it out myself with a little guidance from in&motion.
They informed me not to worry about it, and sent out a new unit. My unit was out side of warranty.
In this day and age not many buisness do this. Really Really Impressed.
It's been a privilege to deal with in&motion.

Posted my unit from the UK back to In&Motion in France as I wanted to cancel my subscription. Unfortunately, the unit got lost in the post. Luckily, I sent it by tracked postage so I could prove that I sent it back. In&Motion were very understanding and agreed to cancel my subscription without any issues. Excellent customer service in my opinion.

First I want to comment about the supposedly‘hidden costs’ as they…are not hidden at all.
You buy a jacket from a manufacturer but you rent the airbag brain from In&Motion.
Depending on the manufacturer the jacket cost can vary significantly. Mine was from Furygan and I paid it new 300ish €.
Indeed you then have to add the rental costs. Check the price of the Italian brands and do the math.
Additionally if you trigger the airbag you can change the canister in max 10min.
Finally the algorithms to trigger the airbag are based on all users live experience and improved accordingly.
From what I could see all manufacturers mention very clearly the rental costs. Hidden costs? Really???
As for the customer service I had to contact them a few times by phone or email and I always faced nice, kind and helpful people.
Definitely recommended

A prompt response, with consideration and understanding of my particular situation. This causes trust and my trust in In&motion gives me confidence on the road and off!

In&motion handled my testimony (due to an unneeded deployment) promptly and responded within a few hours requesting more feedback.
Once In&motion received the required info they studied the data right away and I received a detailed report afterwards.
The deployment was indeed deemed unnecessary so they sent me a new inflator free of charge.
I was kept informed the whole time during this process and In&motion really takes these events seriously to continuously improve the algorythm for their products.
In short, safety products like these are serious business and In&motion handle them accordingly. A+ for customer service and an example for many companies out there.
PS: shout out to Alexandra who was awesome to deal with and did an amazing job!

Very quick response and clear instructions. In safety equipment you want to be sure you are doing every step right. So helpful to receive email with step by step instructions especially in next event is only week apart.

The product is not bad but the hiden cost is ridecule. First the monthly subscription with limited months to cancel only 3 where most dont ride 6 months per year. Then when you jacket gets stolen or lost prepare for a 300 EURO bill on top of it. For unit that cost less then 25 Euro to make. At same time they quickly withdraw last 12 Euro for monthly fee's. Next to that the promissed tracking of your gear use is not working. So you pay for functions not being delivered. I will go for other brand.

I have owned the product for over five years, had two occasion to contact them, once following an activation and most recently as the module battery would not hold charge. In both cases the customer service was exemplary. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them

I am very satisfied with the airbag system. I use it in my RST racing suit during track rides. It has done its job excellently three times so far, protecting me from major injuries.

Reply from In&motion airbags
Did investigate into a new RST jacket and found the one I wanted and there was an airbag version so bought that. Big mistake, got the jacket and registered it to get the in&motion box (luckily did monthly) then the box comes. Charged it and put it in jacket and pair it and update it (update took nearly an hour). Make sure everything working and then turn it off, 3 hours later get ready to go for a ride and the box won’t turn on, so took it out of the jacket reset the unit, still nothing. Plug the charger in and it turned on. Went the bike shop turned it off while the bike was serviced and when I went to turn it on again nothing.
Took it in to J&S who had a look said it looked like the unit wasn’t new or damaged. Tried to email in&motion customer service but auto response could be 5 day. Tried to phone them in France no answer. So left with airbag jacket without working system, pointless.
Now returned and hoping they will cancel the subscription but not holding my breath from some of the reports

COMPLETE SCAM
In Motion Air Bag Model box system scam DO NOT BUY
Purchased a Klim airbag vest with the In Motion air bag system in it for $929 Australian Dollars. I then sold the vest to a mate. I contacted in motion to transfer the service to the new rider, only to be told that my purchase is a "lease" and i have to pay $350 to keep the box, or return it to in. motion and keep the vest.
The vest is useless without the box!!!! What are we paying for??? I paid $929 for the vest, plus a monthly subscription of $20, and they want me to pay extra to buy the box.
ABSOLUTE SCAM!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM IN MOTION, DO NOT PURCHASE THEIR PRODUCTS.
*** IN RESPONSE TO IN MOTIONS REPLY**
At no time was I informed that when you purchase this item, you are only purchasing the fabric and NOT the box!! It was not TOLD at the time of purchase or paying the subscription. The only time a customer finds this out is when they contact in motion to transfer the ownership. GOOGLE for yourselves, you will see we are not the only ones who have been screwed over, and they do not want to help, they just want to take your $$$$. AVOID AVOID AVOID
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM ITS A CON!! Purchase another air bag vest from alpine star who doesn't require a subscription.

Superb customer service to retroactively apply a coupon code after purchasing a subscription. VERY competent and customer-focused!

Complete scam....
I bought some new rst leathers (airbag suit). After buying was told I need to install an app to use/activate the airbag.
Then told need to pay a subscription EVERY month!
If you wish to cancel membership/subscription you have to return the product! WTF having to return something I've paid for when buying the suit plus already paid approx 4 years of fees at £11 odd per month!
Can only temporarily suspend membership to inmotion so paying for something monthly that frequently doesn't get used.
Very dishonest!

Having had an off for the first time yesterday, I’m certain that the only reason I didn’t sustain any upper body / rib injuries was due to the in&motion airbag technology in my Furygan evo vest.
To be honest until me and the bike came to a stop on our side slide I hadn’t even realised it had inflated, I am very impressed with the system, I personally think it’s a no brainer, the vest was £300 and it’s £120 a year to have the airbag subscription, some people are put off because of the subscription, I personally wouldn’t be without it, I done a lot of research on airbag systems before deciding on an in@motion jacket. I&M have invested heavily over several years developing this system and creating the algorithms to cover all types of activation events and they continue to monitor and develop.
I have read a fair amount of the negative comments about not being told when they bought their jacket / leathers with in&motion technology about the way it works. If your buying any clothing with airbag technology all the information you need to use it comes with the clothing!!!
The company cannot be blamed if the individual can’t be bothered to read it!! It’s all there in the box and until you set up your own account, no money can be taken from you. I had the airbag unit for months before I subscribed, up until that point in&motion had no knowledge of me.
There website makes it perfectly clear that once you set up the account and start using the unit it’s £120 a year / £12 a month or £400 for life (the yearly and monthly options extend the warranty during your entire subscription) if you stop your subscription it’s £8 per month until you return the I&M unit. Once returned your account is closed, it clear and simple. I have always had a response to any queries I’ve had within 48 hours, in a friendly but professional manner, I have recommended two other users who are very pleased with their system and also seem to have no problems understanding the terms and conditions of the account. I and them have benefited from 3 months free subscription as they used my account recommendation code when signing up. If you read the low scoring reviews I think you will agree they are due to personal grievances mainly to do with a personal misunderstanding of the subscription. I feel comfortable and protected wearing my vest, and wouldn’t even do a short journey without it.

I've reached out multiple times with questions that need clarification before making a purchase decision. Unfortunately, I haven’t received any response. If this is the level of support offered to someone genuinely interested in buying, it raises serious concerns about the kind of assistance I could expect as a customer—especially if a critical issue were to arise after purchase. Definitely going for Alpinestar.

I crashed and it just did not inflate!!! The company got all the data post crash from the box and acknowledged that it should have deployed but it just didn't.... Do you want to trust your life with this non functioning "safety" product? Good luck kamikaze.....
Based on your math more than 200 people a year experience a fall with no protection wearing your vest. That is not rare by any stretch whatsoever!!!

Reply from In&motion airbags
Wait till you try and cancel your subscription or upgrade the firmware if you have not used the box for a long period of time then the customer nightmare begins!!!!!!
Great idea, but cancelling the service, the custoemer service is non existant and the term "WE WON" reflects the arrogrance of trying to leave/cancel the service. Look for alternative or use a dedicated card that you can manage.

I have owned an IN&MOTION safety jacket for years now. It is so well designed that you do not notice it when wearing on the bike. I would also add that the company and support team are quite brilliant, providing immediate response for any issues and are fluent English-speaking. This is a great product. As noted by others, the support back up team get back very quickly and always manage to sort any small issues. Could not be more helpful. Finally, the APP is very simple well designed and very easy to use. A great product, so well done France, from an Englishman!
