Most useless institution ever

Most useless institution ever. Always problems and newer helpfull. Well, this bank should be burned into ash. Even in midle ages with using horses I am sure bank system worked batter than with ING. Shame on you. I am already finding another bank after five years of disapointment. Total useless institution. Be aware of them and keep your money away and do not let them profit on money you hold with them.

Fraudulent bank-disgrace Netherland

My account in ING bank been blocked since December 5th.They started an investigation and froze my money.All deadlines have passed ,and they're not responding to emails.Reason: i transferred money to myself from a german bank.ING bank is asking me to hurry up with the german bank's ( N26) request.Can you imagine the nonsense they're spouting????

Their in person Service is ok

Their in person Service is ok, however when it comes to looking to speak someone either on the phone or via the chatbot on their website - the chatbot is literally the oldest version of some chatgpt that is available.... It literally has no insights of the products they offer or any up-to date offers that they have, witch is sad for a billion dollar company that a lot of people trust them with their finances.

Client support almost non-existing

After having got rid of almost any face to face support to their clients, the next step at ING seems to be the degradation of the online services also.
ING decided to migrate to a new application for credit cards operations validation. However if your phone does not run Android v12 or above you cannot validate your operations anymore. When you contact them to get a solution, the answer is no solution so your card becomes useless at this time.

ING Romania Illicit Banking Practices

The bank’s subsidiary in Romania offers cheaper personal loans with unemployment and disability insurance yet if you are fired during the probation period the insurance does not cover the specified installments. The bank markets banking products to underage children (14+) and encourages them to gamble. In addition, without using the bank’a mobile application you effectively cannot access your account and money and you cannot even wire money by going to the branch. I wonder where banking has gone to.

The worst bank in the world

The worst bank in the world. When it comes to charging the monthly fee, they never fail, of course! I need to change my phone number in the app urgently, but it turns out to be impossible. The app doesn’t work, the website doesn’t work, and customer service is completely useless because no matter what happens, they always say they can’t do anything. The only solution they offer is for me to go to a service point, which is impossible because I’m at home waiting for knee surgery. So I have no other option but to accept that I won’t be able to change my phone number, which, I repeat, I urgently need to change.

In short, when it comes to charging the monthly fee, they are 100% effective — they never fail. But when it comes to solving customer problems? Good luck amigo! And yes, I’m sure some ING employee will reply to this review with the usual nonsense about how sorry they are and blah blah blah, just to protect the company’s reputation.

A piece of advice for anyone reading this review because they’re thinking about opening an account: don’t do it, not even for a second. I 100% recommend Bunq instead. I’ve had both ING and Bunq for a long time, and honestly, everything with ING is horrible. They treat you like garbage and never solve anything for the customer — you only ever hear from them when it’s time to charge the monthly fee, of course.

With Bunq, everything runs smoothly: customer service listens, they actually solve your problems, and the best part is they have an emergency line that answers in less than a minute — unlike ING, where you wait one to two hours! I wish I had linked my Klarna account to Bunq instead of ING, so it wouldn’t be blocked until I can change my phone number at ING. But as my mother used to say, you learn from experience. After this, I’ll close my ING account — bye bye, tie-wearing scammers.

And by the way, to the person who replies to reviews on behalf of ING: I hope you sleep well at night, because honestly, as a person, you’re awful for defending those tie-wearing scammers. So please, spare me your fake polite reply pretending nothing happened.

I'm so very disappointed with ING service in Utrecht centrum they're as customer service lazy to help solve customer problem and customer service online also including app not work good as well.
I lost trust to ING after some service very bad

They always take the time to help me when I call, business or personal. Great service, friendly, knowledgeable and patient, exactly what I want from my bank. If I can't find the answers online, held desk sorts me out every time.

All good on my side, good support

I only used ING two separate years, one as a student and another as a Dutch resident, and everything worked as expected, no issues at all. They have the monthly fee, which is the reason why I can't give them 5 stars, but appart from that, all good.

Update you guys are actually out of this world, you saved me in your system as Halkias and not Chalkias which is my name just because its easier for you to pronounce, but this comes with 1000 system errors..

its 13th calls i did , no one noticed the issue , i did for you , and you still cannot fix it you ask me to attend physically into a place in NETHERLANDS while im on vacations on Greece and cannot use my MONEY.

Ill take you to the court and all your employees since the calls are recorded.

Extensive contact with ING bank about how and where the different cards ( private / commercial and business ) should work before long trip. According to the bank there should be no problems. My experience, nothing never works as it should with this bank. A sad unreliable and untrustworthy relation

Deceiving Consumers. Horrible experience with the ING shop.

Horrible experience with the ING shop. I ordered an item where a delivery in the next business day was promised. Its the third day and the order is not even shipped yet. I filed a complaint and requested officially to get my money back as they have not shipped anything. However I have trouble getting my money back.

Customer support is helpless and they cannot even give any information for the order whatsoever.

Do not use the ING shop - its a scam and they use their trusted name as a bank to deceive consumers.

My order number is 20842868.

UPDATE:
ING employee responsible for Trustpilot was very kind to hear my case. However after that he put me on hold for 15 minutes so I can speak to someone relevant. After the 15 minutes wait they told me that again "they have delays" - yes, okay but am I going to get my item at all or when? No answer there. I requested my money back. They have said that "it will happen in a few days". That's totally outrageous. If an ING employee kindly asks you to call you - do not do it. They just waste your time and are absolutely ineffective.

UPDATE 2:
Its becoming worse and worse! Now I got a request to SEND THEM BACK the item that I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED in order to get my money back.

TOTALLY OUTRAGEOUS. SCAMMERS!

I have applied for an business account and they kept my application on hold for more than one month, i ve been calling customer service, they have told me to go to ING, at ING they ve told me to call the customer service.
