No Work Performed After Advance Payment – Poor Technical Standards by Inove Ecoenergía S.L.
I directly hired Inove Ecoenergía S.L. to complete specific construction tasks on my property in southern Spain. They had previously been involved as a subcontractor, and after the original contractor had to stop work due to licensing issues, Inove agreed to continue with the remaining work. I made an advance payment for the execution of clearly defined tasks.
Despite this, Inove Ecoenergía never carried out any of the agreed work. No activity ever took place on site after payment, and no valid explanation or refund was provided, despite repeated follow-ups.
In addition, their prior involvement on the project showed serious technical deficiencies:
– The HVAC system, which they were involved in, was installed without a proper engineering plan
– The only “plan” I received was an unprofessional sketch
– Work on pipe insulation, fan coil mounting, and drainage systems was poorly executed and had to be redone
– No project oversight or quality control was evident
Independent experts have since confirmed that correcting the technical issues now exceeds €200,000.
