Highly recommended tool

Inspire writer is one the best tools a writer or a blogger can use. The clean minimal user interface helps me focus on getting words out of my head and onto the paper. It has a really simple and user-friendly interface . Once I installed, there's an thorough introduction, like a welcome note, the feature introduction and guideline to write down . Then I can start writing with no distractions!
Using the writer is fairly simple, and there are lots of tutorials available on YouTube. The recent introduction of splash screen is just an icing on the cake. I used this writer when I gave my laptop for repair and was using my friends laptop to write my essay's. Another thing I found very practical is Inspire supports syncing data between your Inspire and Dropbox or Google Drive. I have tried many other writing software before, but this one is far and away the simplest I ever tried. Previously I was just using a regular word processor with tons of chunk, so naturally I liked the minimal UI as soon as I started writing.
I highly recommend this writer and hope that the developers maintain this high of a standard!
PS: It has a Dark Mode. I mean what more do you want?

Best text editor for a beginner

The most important cause I'm using this app is because of its minimalist look....When I searched on the we for text editors the first thing that came to me is Atlantis word processor, which by the way is too complicated...… Then what came was IA writer which was not that good. While scrolling through the page I noticed this text editor which is very good

This software is quick to learn, it's beautiful and totally distraction free.

I've only been using Inspire for a few days but so far I'm thrilled! As a PC user, I've long envied the software available on Apple computers. For years, I've looked for a text editor that's attractive, simple to use, and makes organizing thoughts easy. I've found software that meets one or two of those criteria but Inspire is the first one I've found that does all three.

One of the options that I found looked great and seemed like a powerhouse at organizing research and ideas but was way too complex for my needs. I'm not a novelist, just someone who writes regularly and has a hard time staying focused. This software is quick to learn, it's beautiful and totally distraction free. Oh, and crucially, it auto-saves my work and backs up to the cloud so I don't worry about losing anything.
I love that markup and navigation are simple and can be done without leaving the keyboard. I have had to get used to new keyboard shortcuts but that's been pretty straightforward and the payoff makes it well worth the adjustment.

I think my favorite thing about Inspire was how quickly I went from downloading the software to having a clean, distraction-free writing space open and working for me.

Difficulty writing / writer's block? SOLVED!

If you have difficulty writing, whether it be finding time everyday, writer's block, or even, as was my case, just getting past the first couple pages, then you need to READ THIS -- it may literally change your life, as it did mine. I have so much to share with the world, but I simply cannot keep focused...

I know that the root of this problem ultimately lies with me alone, so much so that I had even taken steps towards seeing a physician for prescription medications for ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder), which was scheduled for this Friday morning (in 3-days). That appointment was happily CANCELLED yesterday -- I have every communication as evidence of this...

Why? Because I found the cause of my "writer's block"; distraction -- even miniscule distractions.

You see, I've tried MANY writing softwares, from free & open-source, to the "heavy hitter" commercial packages, ALL promising to "help authors write better & easier" -- however, every last one of them had something in common: Menus, options, styles, click here, click there, ALT-key this, and ALT-key that -- DISTRACTIONS!

Then honestly JUST BY CHANCE I came across Inspire, which I'm on day 4 of using. Oh. My. God. Just before deciding to write this review, I just finished up my editing runthrough of my fourth chapter (I write each chapter, then run through again making edits, changes, et cetera) -- I've written everything from the prologue to the semi-final revision of chapter 4 -- IN 4-DAYS!!!

I have never, since I decided to sit down and put my thoughts to paper, gotten past the first few paragraphs of a second chapter in ANY attempt to write a book -- EVER -- until now...

The thing with the software is so much better because you never take your fingers off the same keys used for writing -- NO Alt-keys, CTRL-keys, CLICKS, etc -- everything is done with the letter/number keys, and formatting is SO MUCH SIMPLER, ex: just add # in front of a sentence for a header, the number of hashes matching which level header -- underscores surrounding text for italics, and so on...

You NEVER take you fingers or focus off the keys used for writing, for no reason -- hence NO DISTRACTIONS...!

I'd recommend this to EVERYONE -- especially those with writer's block, and similar focus issues -- try it before [unnecessarily] medicating yourself...!

Wish I had Inspire a long time ago

I have been exploring distraction-free writing programs for years spending lots of money, and time. That was until recently when I found Inspire-writer and its interface to organize ideas and stories. It offers a lot for writers who need to organize and back up. It offers basic navigations, and has an editor. I just don’t have the time to edit or always fine comb through every story, and I can’t always rely on others to assist me. It doesn’t matter if you’re a poet, screenwriter or someone who enjoys creative writing. It’s simple and not complicated like so many other writing programs. It has a variety of formats you can export, works with wordpress and one of my favorites is password protection. This way no one can accidently delete or access your information. The cost is great, where most are around hundred and up. Some apps are cheaper but don’t offer what Inspire-writer has created. Excellent support, so you know you’re not going to be ignored with an issue. One of the major influences is the cloud sync. There are some companies that have their own cloud so You can’t use the one your most comfortable with. Inspre-writer allows Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive and many more for your choice. I also enjoy the dark mode and full screen mode. Most important is the support. They are very serious about taking care of their customers and that’s a big issue for me. Some software companies won’t even write back until you fill their inbox. Please check out Inspre-writer. I honest believe you will love it like so many have, including me. Thanks guys for an awesome writing app to keep me going.

The best writing app for Windows!

Inspire Writer is a very well polished experience for a translator, but there is one thing that could, indeed, be better. Let's begin talking about the good part (which is most of it). It provides good font settings, a nice and clean look, and, the most important for me, everything that I've said for Windows. I'm pretty sure there's no other app that made me that productive for Windows since most writing apps with that kind of clean look are for macOS. I have used my 10-day trial and it was pretty nice, I was very productive and these were the probably most productive 10 days of the last years in a windows laptop. But there's also the almost nonexistent bad part, that was one little thing: the application can't compact itself to the half of the screen, what can be annoying sometimes, but didn't outshine in no way the beautiful and productive app for writers and translators they have built. In conclusion, I can say that Inspire Writer is a very nice application for everyone looking forward to writing anything, either code, either a book. It provides a nice environment for you to completely focus and, for a consequence, be more productive. If you haven't yet, at least try the 10-day trial, because if you don't, you may regret it later.

Inspire is a very interesting…

Inspire is a very interesting software-- I like a good mix of minimalism, as to not distract, and yet some ways to plan and yet tidy up files as well export them. This is something Inspire have. The add of dark and typewriter mode is pretty much an essential in nowadays editors, as well as markup. Syntax highlight is nice. More important it's a great software for those searching for a window equivalent to the famous Ulysses app on mac which I was very much fond of. It's clean, it's organised and modern (cloud sync, tag support, sheet password) and pretty much have everything for a text editor.

It's an elegant editor. This is a very important point for me at least, to have something aesthetically pleasing given that you will look and use it while writing, which could easily span hours and hours. It's also motivating to have a good-looking IU, which should also be intuitive and I think Inspire scores pretty well in this domain. While not the best-looking editor either it's elegant in its own without lacking any functionality (which is what most modern editors don't have) so it's a pretty good deal.

And finally, exportation directly to wordpress is a NECESSITY, whether it's for pro or amateurs like who enjoy writing fanfictions.

Amazing

Amazing, pretty cool, simple to use. Firstly, as a markdown editor, this is about as simple as it gets. The UI doesnt get in your way. All of your writing is done in "sheets". These sheets are organized as "groups". Groups can have subgroups. If you are familiar with Ulysses, then this would be what Ulysses would look like if it existed for Windows. There are 3 panes to look at. On the far left is your external folders and Library. The middle pane has the contents or the sheets of the active group. The right pane is where you do your editing. Its very simple. No Microsoft Word looking icon ribbons or distracting stuff like that. From a productivity standpoint, when you compare Inspire to Scrivener, hands down this makes your writing much faster, concise, enjoyable and better. To keep your writing mojo moving forward, there's a goal icon that changes in real time to show you how close you are getting to that goal. As for saving your work, it doesnt get any more simple. You can save your work to DropBox or any of the other cloud based systems that are out there. If you've got your doubts, then give it a spin with the free 10 day trial. You'll be impressed.

Inspire - big wow!

I was looking for something similar to app which my friend is using on her Mac (and this app is only for Mac), but i have a Windows so I had to search a lot... I saw and tried a lot of programs and apps, and I was really exited, when I finally found Inspire! I started to use it and I think that it is an amazing app! Inspire is so easy to use, that everyone can use it from the first start, moreover it has all of the function that we can use for distraction-free writing. App's main window is very intuitive and easy to use. When I firstly saw its sheets, I felt my head was filling with new amazing ideas for example for novels and maybe, one day, even a book. The library helps to keep everything in exact order you want and let you change the order of text without any necceserity of using copy-paste command. Introduction with tutorial give us a whole information about how to use all of the functions. I can not wait to write my very own first novel with Inspire. It is something new for me, because until Inspire I was using a common text editors and I did not know, there is something as good as Inspire. I will happily recommend Inspire to all of my writer-friends.

The perfect replacement of Ulysses on Windows

OMG! I never realized that I could find a perfect alternative app on the Windows platform for Ulysses. I've been searching for an app on Windows which could do the job that Ulysses has done in the Mac platform and Inspire Writer gets the job done easily.

Inspire Writer caught my eyes on the first impression with concise layout. It has the classic three-tab layout with the library, sheet and editor. Each tab can be switched on and off with shortcuts. The dark mode is also applied here, which is sort of rare to be seen on the Windows platform but rather popular on the Mac platform.

The standard markdown style is easy to be adapted with the same shortcuts as in Ulysses and the presentation is so elegant that is seldom to be seen on the Windows platform. Take the similar app "Scrivener" as a comparison, it is so elegant on the Mac but rather redundant on the Windows platform due to some unknown reasons. Even with a good monitor on Windows, the retina display on Mac still stands out. But somehow the designer of Inspire Writer makes the display almost as good as it is on Mac with Ulysses.

I'm quickly immersed in the distraction-free experience with many inspirations. It helps get focused on nothing but my goals. I can effortlessly make my to-do-list, plans, diary even novels on this app while using my Windows laptop. Cloud seamlessly sync makes it even better and I can read and write my compositions anywhere with Internet. Maybe it could be better if there is a mobile version on iOS. But for the Windows platform, it literally has every feature that I want.

Export is also easy to be done with various formats to choose ranging from PDF, DOCX, TXT and HTML. I personally like PDF export which is neat. What's more, it can be published to popular online blogs such as WordPress and Medium which is convenient.

For my personal use, I usually use the text editor to write down my ideas, plans, and little thoughts, which is a small but important thing for me. But I don't know why the experience on the Windows platform is not even close to the Mac. Inspire Writer is the first app I found performs as good as the app on the Mac platform. The default choice of markdown colour also suits my taste.

In a nutshell, whenever I use the Inspire Writer, I am really got inspired as the app's name suggests lol. It makes me fall in love typing on the Windows platform again. Now, I can forget the elegant design of macOS and Ulysses temporarily and appreciate the beauty of Inspire Writer. Good Job app developer!

For years I couldn't find a way to type…

For years I couldn't find a way to type on a laptop without having to edit my writing just by seeing it appear on the screen. It was a nightmare, I tried it all, dragon, word, final draft etc... All I needed was a tool, much like the old typewriters, I never expected to find a friend. Inspire writer is that friend. I truly recommend it.

Inspire is the best writing tool I have ever used.

Inspire is easily the best note-taking/writing app I have ever had the pleasure of using. This is a market that is wholly saturated by competitors, and yet Inspire effortlessly manages to stand a whole head and shoulder above the rest. Its easy-to-use implementation of Markdown means you can quickly format your text, draw attention to what you wish with ease, and in turn focus on what matters the most - the writing itself. As such not only does Inspire allow you to write easier, it also makes you a better writer, since its heap of features only serve to enhance, and not detract like some other text-editors like Evernote or Simplenote (Anybody who has ever used those two knows how clumsy and buggy the UI can be).

Other than the aforementioned masterful implementation of Markdown, Inspire comes with in-built tools for backing up your data to the cloud via linking to your own accounts, locking your notes for privacy's sake, easily making text-libraries and grouping text based on categories, a robust tagging system, and a very competent conversion tool to export your text to .pdf, .html, etc.

Lastly, and I left the most important feature for the end, Inspire does not steal your data. Unlike most other software these days, Inspire does not require you to sign-up with some online account, and it does not send your data to any server. Your privacy is guaranteed, and that alone makes Inspire a darling app for myself.

Inspire is a great markdown text editor helping writers to stay focused

Inspire is a great text editor helping writers to stay focused. I was using Ulysses on Mac, and was looking for an equivalent on Windows. It had to :
- work with plain text files (no custom database or file format)
- support Markdown language
- be able to share files with Ulysses with no conflict (through Google drive or Dropbox)
That's exactly what Inspire does ! Now, I'm writing on Windows with Inspire with as much pleasure and focus as with Ulysses on Mac.
I'm writing diary entries, novels, and blog posts. Inspire allows me to keep all my writings in one place and to organize them neatly through simple forlder structure. I do appreciate the feature allowing to post directly to Wordpress. I can work on a draft from anywhere, including when I'm offline (which helps stay focused), and then post it to wordpress once I'm ready.
Is it perfect ? No, but the only (small) issue I can think of is the support of foreign characters. I'm usually writing in french, and I noticed that in some screens (not in the main editor window), accented characters are not displayed properly in the current version. But that's really a meaningless issue compare to the overall quality of Inspire :)

# Review on Inspire Writer for Windows

# Review on Inspire Writer for Windows
This is the kind of a non-distracting typing tool on Windows. It really gets you into writing right away. What makes it special is that You can have all your clear area to start typing, yet, you still have all the features you need to support your writing activity. For instance, it has this wonderful Markdown system. If you want to have a headline, a list, or such, then you only have to type it (don't need to find the menu to do these). For example if you want to make a Headline 1 just type # in the beginning of your sentence. Then to make headline 2, just type ## in the beginning of your sentence, and so forth. Simple as that. When you type a numbered list, just start with 1. and it will automatically numbered your list. Or you can try with the dash mark - to start an unordered list. If you forget the Markdown code, you can just click the bucket icon on the lower left side of your typing area. Another good thing I like with this app is that we can easily export our writing directly to our WordPress blog. Complete with the tags as well. So don't let the clear and simple appearance fool you. Inspire Writer back you up with all the necessary tools in hand. Even in the fullscreen view, the tools are just beside you (on your left screen) with subtle grey color, so it's still not distracting while you're typing.

This is hands-down the best alternative…

This is hands-down the best alternative for Ulysses available for Windows.

As someone who has been blogging for several years, an efficient and effective means to write content and send over to WordPress is important. With my recent switch from using Mac machines over to Windows machines, finding a markdown language-based writing application to replace Ulysses was a headache. I tried a lot of different apps and none quite did the trick. I was feeling very very lost and unsure whether it would be possible to find an app that I could be satisfied with...

Then came along Inspire Writer. Though it can never be Ulysses, it has all the functionalities that I would deem essential to my personal ideal writing experience. Lockable folders, syncing capabilities, a rich UI, easy upload to WordPress, dark mode, and live previews. For the first time in a long time, I felt like I was finally at home with an app that I can use. A big sigh of relief!

I would recommend this app for any content writer who is looking for an alternative to Ulysses. It looks and performs similarly - and features an affordable one-time lifetime purchase instead of a subscription-based model!

One of the best notetaking programs out there

If you are looking for a program that keeps track of your notes in a simple and distraction free look, Inspire is the program for you. Inspire is a note taking tool that helps minimize distractions so you can focus on the task at work. There are many shortcuts that you can use so you can organize sections. What sets this program apart from other note taking programs is how user friendly it is and how great it looks. Other programs usually only have the average word editing such as changing the color or bolding or highlighting but Inspire has much more than that. It is designed so that your hands will never leave the keyboard, and let me tell you, it does just that. For the entire time I've used Inspire, I've never lift my hand to go to the mouse, I just type and type and type. It has a very simple UI so you can navigate easily through what you want. To be honest, I hate taking notes. It may be just me, but I hate how Microsoft Word operates. There are too many things to do, like if you want to bold a word you have to click the bold button then back and repeat. It is just too distracting for me. But Inspire helps me so that I can focus on the task at hand because the shortcuts are right from my keyboard. If you're looking for a good note-taking program, Inspire should definitely be, if not, the best choice.

A Review of the best markdown tool

A Review of the best markdown tool

I recently decided that I would create my own blog. Because of this I started researching on the topic, how to rank on google, SEO strategies, how to write well and make money with blog.
In this I discovered a type of writing called markdown, and the main application that makes this tool available is ulysses, which is not available for windows or android, because of this I started to search for applications that were as good as, tested about 5 different ones, and among them all that caught my attention was the inspires, which I discovered through a comment on youtube.
All apps have many features, but inspirer has most of them like:
- colors that differentiate different parts of the text;
- a tool that helps you know how many words, phrases, and letters you have already written, and sets a goal
- a menu where you can manage your notes and files
- cloud sync
- dark theme that is pleasing to the eye, using shades of gray not black
- keyboard shortcuts

And if you want to understand more about the app, a handbook is now available in the notes that teaches you how to take full advantage of the app. Something really cool is also that you have the option to try the application for free, to decide which is the best option for you (which in my case was certainly the inspirer) and still have the chance to win a license for the application, it is something wonderful.
A lot of people are looking for free apps, similar to this one, but I think when the app gets paid, you get extra security because you know you have a company behind it, along with a team that is willing to get you. help along with another that will always be updating the tool, always seeking to improve it. By contrast, free tools come along with the insecurity of not knowing who is behind it.

You know the inpirer has flaws, but nothing is perfect and I hope I can always be willing to give my opinion in order to help the development team improve the tool.

For all these reasons my school was inpire, and I hope it gets better and better, beating all the competition

A hug from a big fan and user, Iago

Amazing!

Amazing!

That word sums up my feeling when writing in the inspire-writer.

A long time ago I hated writing, so I decided to challenge myself:

Write 5 minutes every day.

I used google docs, and I did not even write 10 words.

Google docs offered so many possibilities of formatting, that it completely took my focus on writing.

So I started searching for focused writing applications.

I found Ulysses, it seemed to be my salvation, but there was a problem ... It has no version for windows.

I found other similar applications for windows, but none of them I felt comfortable writing.

Most were very caught up.

So, as I used to access a copywriter's blog, in the comments someone indicated the inspire-writer.

That's when I downloaded it and in a few minutes I fell in love with the application.

It's very simple to use, fast, you can see how many words you've written, and the dark mode so it's fantastic for my eyes, it's all very well organized.

And the most important ...

You can write twice as many words in half the time.

Even today being the second day with this application, it has already become the # 1 tool for me.

So if you reading this comment want to write twice in half the time, the inspire-writer is your solution.

This is perfect for writing

This is perfect for writing. It has a very simple and user-friendly user interface. Once I installed, there is an thorough introduction, such as a welcome note, the feature introduction and guideline to write. Then I can start writing with no distractions!

However, the markdown language is a bit difficult to remember, especially for newbies. But don't worry about that. The developers are very thoughtful thinking of that, so they add the "Markup" tab on the top of the application, so you can directly find and click what you want.

What I like the most is that you can have to worry about losing your files and text any longer, as Inspire will automatically save what you write, which is extraordinarily helpful. Another thing I found very practical is Inspire supports syncing data between your Inspire and Dropbox or Google Drive. I love this feature so much!

I am a blogger so I write a lot every day. I have tried many other writing software before, but this one is by far the best I ever tried. It's totally distraction-free, so I can focus on writing and write more and more smoothly. Inspire has a Dark Mode. It's good for eyes and I can write at nights while protecting my eyes.

Perfect Alternative to Ulysses

I've been looking for an alternative to Ulysses for a long time and I actually found it at iA Writer (it just has to be Windows). However, the iAW is somehow not as comfortable to use as Ulysses on the Mac. After a certain training period I wrote half books here. Now I have windows again and need an alternative. I found Inspire by chance. Wow! I was able to start without instructions immediately and lo and behold: the write flow has set again! I write again! So: a complete success! I also tried Scrivener for the test, but then I can take Word again, because it is too much of a good thing. Then Inspire is exactly right again. It still lacks the themes and some formatting (block), but they are still coming. One must not forget that Ulysses has some advantage here. Inspire is also fast, really fast! Alone the Typewriter mode and the complete possible mouse exemption is wonderful. Now only the cross-platform license is missing because I am working on two computers at the same time (or is it possible?). So I can safely recommend Inspire (except for the price). $ 49 is too much, $ 29 is just going. On the other hand, it's more than fitting if I really write daily with it like now.
