Foot Health Care course
The learning material was delivered promptly after purchasing the course. I haven't started the course itself yet, but I have completed the required reading, and I know, without a doubt that I will find the guidelines very useful as I progress through the course. This is more of a question has anyone completed the foot health practitioner course and actually set up afterwards? I’m worried without ofquel accreditation I won’t be able to get on any registers and it’s not a government recognised qualification which I know doesn’t stop you practising but people surely look at those registers when looking for a foot person. Like it’s not really a diploma

In the UK, there are no rules or regulations stating any particular type or level of qualification is needed to set up as a FHP, however it is of course still important you seek out training and guidance to provide a safe and thorough service to clients. That's where courses such as ours come in!
Our course is primarily theory based, making it a fantastic choice for those who have one or more of the following experiences
- A background in nursing, allied health care or nail tech.
- Some involvement with foot health care, perhaps allied to their day job.
- Access to a friend or family member who can help you get hands-on practical experience.
- Work for a company that can provide practical support
People who need a Foot Health Care practitioner may seek out a professional in a number of ways. Some may use a register yes, others may use methods such as social media, or online searches, or may come to you through recommendation! Our course looks at both the FHP skills you need to practise, as well as business, marketing and finance, to help you set up successfully.
The course we offer is endorsed at level 4 by The Quality Licence Scheme. The Quality Licence Scheme is part of the Skills and Education Group who are a leading national awarding organisation. This endorsement through The Quality Licence Scheme shows that this course has been recognised as high-quality, and meets the standards this awarding body set as part of their Quality Licence Scheme.
Upon completion of the course you will receive 2 certificates, a Diploma Certificate from the Blackford Centre and a Certificate of Achievement from The Quality Licence Scheme.

I am currently doing the course diploma in counselling

I am doing my research (looking at…
I am doing my research (looking at reviews, going through course syllabus ect) I'm planning on saving money towards the online version (R8395, correct me if I am wrong) but so far I am very excited to start once I get the required fees. The Diploma in Counselling seems to have everything I need to get started as a therapist and after my completion of the course I will go on and study further as well as opening up my own practice (which I can't wait for either!!) I will give another rating at the end of the course once I have completed it. Thank you Blackford Centre.

Foot Health Care
I've just completed the Foot Health Care Practitioner course with the Blackford centre and delighted to have passed with distinction.
The course was delivered quickly and beautifully packaged with Emma keeping me up to date with information relating to the course.
My personal tutor Helen was extremely knowledgeable and offered great advice throughout the course.
My assignments were marked quickly, encouraging me to move through the modules in record time.
The course was split into modules, each one covering different aspects of foot care, diagnosing, instruments, record keeping, finance, insurance and marketing and all laid out in an easy to understand format.
I am now confident and look forward to starting my journey in Foot Health Care 😀👣
