Came on time, efficient install, pleasant staff

Did the cavity insulation ok but refused to put the loft insulation in as they were not sure if the old type loft insulation had asbestos in it. This was after an engineer had originally been in the loft and said it was ok. Since been told it does not contain asbestos and had new loft insulation laid by a reliable tradesman. They were going to put down 270mm insulation which is quite difficult to purchase. I offered to buy just the insulation but they would not sell it separately so had to purchase 200mm insulation instead. All in all not very happy.

good company, good service. They did two jobs for us - loft insulation and wall insulation. Everything was done on time and clean. thank you guys.

The surveyor turned up at the agreed time. He was polite and knew his job, even when the technology let him down. The quote was significantly cheaper than the other I got (a third company did not come). The surveyor said work would be in 2 to 3 weeks from date of deposit. I rang to book and was asked if "the 28th was ok". As this was 2 weeks in the future I assumed the lady on the phone meant the month we were in. When I rang to confirm the time of the appointment it turned out my booking was for the following month! There is a big difference between 2-3 weeks and 6 weeks. The actual work was done quickly and with a minimum of mess. The installers were late but there was a bad crash that day and traffic was very bad so it is understandable. However, I had to ring up myself to find out why they were late, InstaGroup did not inform me.

Boiler installed Late 2015, left my house in absolute ruin - the result was a full review and full settlement via the Ombudsman against Instagroup - once Gas Safety had also determined against Energycare - for a full installation was required - uncapped gas pipes, fouled stop cock - unearthed - unsheathed pipes - 'unrealistic' test results - to name a few - nevertheless Energycare decided to persue the matter via the courts with the full agreement from their puppet masters Instagroup who between them contrived a plausible witness statement failing to declare a conflict of interest. Their claim was finally dismissed February 2018. This is a particularly nasty business who endeavour to bully their clients -best avoided.

Instagroup did a great job in putting insulation in my loft.
They were very professional from start to finish, from the initial inspection and quote to the final completion.

My only criticism is that despite the crew brushing and washing down the patio and area surrounding the house, there was a fair amount of residual brick dust from the cavity wall insulation on surfaces. This could have been cleaned off more thoroughly in my opinion. I was asked if I had a hose - which I don't - so they used a watering can. If the crew have their own generator, could they not have some automatic water pump to assist with cleaning up?
