Incompetent Brokers and Management Chain

I was trying to get a quote for my new business, and in my industry insurance is critical for closing contracts with other businesses.

My broker was incapable of listening to my requirements both on the phone or reading emails. It took him a month of back and forth, multiple mistakes to finally draft a contract that had my requirements which should have been turned around within a week. I escalated to his management and asked to switch brokers because I'm a small business and cannot afford the churn or latency since 100% of my contracts require endorsements, COIs, etc. customized as part of the funnel to closing contracts. His management was defensive, condescending, and ultimately because of how I was treated as a customer, I didn't want to work with these brokers or their management chain. I couldn't trust that they would be able to do their job and not impact my sales funnel.

We have been with Insureon for over 15…

We have been with Insureon for over 15 years. This year we were less than impressed with the agent servicing our account and the fact that we again pay a fee to the agency for renewing our policy. We were charged this fee last year but didn't pay much attention to it. With costs increasing all the time having an extra service fee for doing your job caused this rating to be lower than in other years.

Emailed insurance broker Alejandro with questions to never receive a reply. Still charged and paid the $80 fee for the insurance representative but did not get replies to my questions.

Straightforward process

Straightforward process. Easy to communicate with an agent via email. Got a quick quote and executed the agreement quickly to get insurance in time for a critical business need.

terrible communication

I needed help with certain documents and asked my agent to give me a call and he completely disregarded that and wasn’t very much help. when I asked for a 3rd time to call because the documents I needed corrected weren’t being done correctly, tyler still disregarded a phone call and stop answering my messages. i’m not happy I had to pay for terrible service
