Don’t Trust Interflora for Timely Deliveries Abroad

I placed an order via Interflora’s Danish website on July 4th for flowers to be delivered in Japan on July 5th—our anniversary. They confirmed the date and accepted the order without issue.

Only on July 7th, two days after the promised delivery, did they contact me to say the florist in Japan is closed and the flowers won’t be delivered until the 10th. No prior warning, no real apology—just a generic excuse after the damage was done.

This kind of service is completely unacceptable for a company that claims to specialize in international flower delivery. If you care about your occasion, do not trust Interflora to deliver on time—or even communicate proactively.

Extremely disappointing experience. Avoid if your delivery date matters.

Simple to use

Simple to use, helpful directions and tips. Good info during delivery.
The only negative thing is that I could choose delivery on a Sunday but info on the homepage said delivery wasn't possible on Sundays

Ordering a delivery in DK from CA

I live in Canada, my daughter lives in Denmark, and it's hard to find a company to deliver where they live. I've used Interflora for years now, and they get it right every time. Their product is beautiful and well presented, and the cost is very reasonable. 100% recommend,

Disappointing

The cost of the bouquet was reasonable for overseas delivery and it was delivered on time, however it didn't match photo on their Interfloradk website.

The flowers in their website photo looked fresh with predominantly red hues: large bright pink lily, magenta flowers, red roses and some small-leafed foilage in lime green. The foilage was important to the overall effect of the bouquet because it gave a light, airy look, similar to wild flowers or grasses from the field.

The bouquet received looked nothing like the one promised in their photo.

The flowers received are not fresh. The red roses look tired- petals very much opened and curled back. The lily is a dull pink, and lavender colored flowers were used instead of the bright magenta in their photo. The hues are dull and the colors don't blend.

The worst part of the bouquet is that it is dense with leaf - more leaves than flowers! They used very large, thick (and dark blue-green) foilage - eucalyptus and other branches so that the focal point is leaves instead of flowers!! This is exactly opposite of the light, airy wildflower-look of the bouquet promised in their photo.

Overall, the bouquet looked thrown together - They didn't even try to substitute vibrant flower colors that matched, or foilage resembling what they promised in their photo. Very disappointing.

Mismatching information in the website

The website says that orders made until 16.00 for Copenhagen area can be delivered the same day. I had mine declined because it was 15.00 when I ordered.

In selected areas in Copenhagen, it is indeed possible to order for same-day delivery until 16:00 on weekdays. However, there can be exceptions - for instance, on major flower days or during peak periods - where florists may close earlier due to high demand or limited capacity.
